And I know so many people who don’t take that lightly. Who will take these archetypes, these characters with complexity that inspired hope, that conquered their faults, and made it out. Not just Fezco and Lexi, but Rue too. We can now build the way we need to.

Especially now, when they lost someone so important to them both. But it’s also a reminder that the endings we want will never be handed to us. That we’ll never get them unless we write them ourselves. It’s why fanfic exists and it’s what’s kept these two characters alive for me for years…

I am going to live in the canon that she walked out of Cassie’s house, went home, and finally called Fez. That they rekindle and somehow, his case turns around and he gets out. And they make it through. Because with all the chaos that happened, they deserve to have someone looking out for them.

Ppl this season took her concerns at her friends outrageous moves as judgement, but if you can take harsh criticism from a true friend, do the people around you really care? I loved every second I got of #lexihoward and #maudeapatow this season, but she def deserved better. And much more

Lexi truly got some crumbs in terms of development but still proceeds to be the only sane character in this show. The most sense, the most logic, the most stable. She will always be my favorite, and I believe she is one of the moral centers of the show, no matter how many people wanted to argue that

I get it’s impossible to have a character where the actor is no longer here to be fully part of the show, but there’s so much that can be done with editing and old clips. They did it beautifully with rue, I don’t see why they couldn’t with Lexi. We know that more is there, it could’ve helped us

Ali was the true star of the final episode. One of the souls of the show. #colmandomingo deserves another Emmy. His heartbreak was so palpable and his need for revenge felt so real. The way he acted his bond with #zendaya was stunning to watch, and those last minutes really broke me.

That’s the true story of euphoria, in the original way it existed and whatever came out of this season. That addiction and the way it takes over a mind can destroy them. That there’s a tipping point to the things that hold us back from total destruction. I wanted to think Rue wouldn’t tip over it.

Onto #Rue because damn I wanted her to live. It seemed so improbable at times but I had hope. I know this is the most realistic outcome but it doesn’t make it hurt less. I will believe she is a good person forever who got destroyed by addiction, the way it happens to so many beautiful people.

…but idk why she let her guard drop in that moment. She’s smarter than that but it’s also important to not think you’re too smart to be outsmarted. It will happen, and it happened there. I’m glad she’s not in debt anymore, but she will probably face guilt for her whole life.

Ali saying rue sent him and her face makes it clear, she knows it’s her fault. I love Maddy a lot a lot

I fast forwarded through multiple Cassie moments cuz she just pissed me off. She’s a selfish, brainless character who only serves her own gain. Even the last scene with Lexi, she still felt devoid of humanity. Only focused on herself. I wish her character was one of the ones that didn’t make it.

One of my biggest issues with the season…the #Cassie of it all. Sydney obviously made her case to be the second most important character because wow did we spend time on her body, her “profession”, her wedding that ended up meaningless, and her dated views of womanhood. It was all so gross

It also felt like it was used to throw as much exploitation of women as possible. There’s no doubt that there’s realism in how they presented some of these worlds, but some of it was so gratuitous and vile. But I still had more love for the ladies in the club and their outcome than I did Cassie

Some of the new characters were actually enjoyable to watch, that was one of my biggest concerns that ended up being a surprise. Bishop, Magick, Kitty, even #Alamo were enticing. The whole Alamo story wasn’t bad to watch at all but felt like we were on a different universe.
