S-A-L-U-T-E technique, for reporting ICE

Spread information, not panic. When reporting or signal boosting potential threats, provide as much information as possible. The acronym "salute" (S A L U T E) is shown as a mnemonic, as follows:

S = Size/strength: "5–6 D H S officers"
A = Actions/activity: "Standing outside Burger King talking to each other"
L = Location/direction: "Astoria on 33rd Street and Astorial Boulevard"
U = Uniforms/clothes: "Plain clohtes with ballistic vests labeled Department of Homeland Security"
T = Time and date of observation: "7:55 A M, July 26"
E = Equipment and weapons: "2 clipboards. One has flexcuffs on his belt"

Not a useful tweet: "ICE spotted"

Movie we watched last night: Huge shootout, automatic weapons, shotguns, pistols, in reverberant concrete parking garage. But when someone tosses a grenade in from the outside THAT'S when the main character yells "Cover your ears!" After which, audio attenuates and there's a tinnitus whine.

A smart person I assumed I could respect complained on FB that white men aren't pandered to enough, politically. Later he solicited white male Republican views. He also asked why ICE should respect me if I don't respect them. No armband, so it must not be Naziism. Nice is the enemy of good.

Bought it on Kindle. Tried to use Voiceover on iPhone to listen. Stupidly frustrating. Finally restarted phone, got distracted by necessary home stuff during restart, forgot I was even trying to listen to it. WCAG is nice, and everything, but the plain old English word "accessible" would be better.
