Never one to be left behind, my sweet Jax followed Cooper over the rainbow bridge this afternoon. His decline was extremely rapid. Liver failure took him in less than 24 hours. He was a shithead, but the best boy. I'm devastated.

Cooper crossed the rainbow bridge last night. My parents are devastated. Emily and I are heartbroken. He was the gentlest dog I've ever met in my life. He lived 12 beautiful years before cancer and sepsis took him from us.

It has begun. The first wave of holiday treats are done. Chocolate dipped pretzel rods, buckeyes, and Christmas rocky road with white chocolate, pecans, and M&Ms. A little helper may have went too hard on the mallows in the rocky road but it's made with love.
