The final boss of Doom Eternal was a cool take on the Icon of Sin, but it also made me miss how badass the original artwork for it looked. Honestly if there is one major complaint I have with the Doom reboot is how "alien" the demons feel. They lack that hellish, otherworldly edge in the designs

Friend of mine just made me aware google updated their images of Gaza and.... fuck. Seeing all the dots saying "dentist, school, market, resort" layered on the rubble... The old photos contrasted with the gravel that is left. Yet our politicians will keep pretending this is a "complex issue."

I have to admit that Gamescom didn't really feel worth. So much was just glorified billboards to take photos with, and nothing to play for see from the games. Queues were hours long for the handful of AAA demos there was. Indie side was way more entertaining.
