A few of year's ago I was commissioned by a close contact (my mother) to create a vest inspired by #Missoni (see last image). I managed to find a wonderful gradient yarn called Star Ruby by Cotton Kings (found on Hobbii) that matched the original reference photo. #knitting #knitsky #knitter

#Thrifted a £1 Shein jacket as I thought it had potential... It didn't fit perfectly so I improved the fit by adding: - more buttons/button holes with my sewing machine, which also meant raising the collar - press-studs under the collar for structure Quite happy with it now! #upcycle #thriftsky

Last year my #sewingmachine decided to only sew backwards. Then I found a Brother by a bin (🙂) but that ended up being broken (🙃). Treated myself to a cheap overlocker on Facebook marketplace... Also broken. Now here I am: £200 lighter with an overlocker in my home. Excitement awaits! #sewsky
