This is part of what I'm referring to with many people demanding stories that reassure them they're a good person. They want the moral instruction because otherwise, rather than processing the reading experience, there's a thrum of "am I bad? am I bad? what if someone finds out I'm bad?"

Tumblr post by graftini:

stories about abuse are allowed to exist without reducing themselves to moral instruction. i think sometimes when people complain about the “romanticization” of abuse, what they're actually objecting to isn't necessarily the way abuse is being represented, but the fact that the representation doesn't provide them with constant moral reassurance. like, there is a difference between “this story frames abuse as desirable or inherently romantic” and “this story depicts abuse in an erotic/ambiguous/complicated way and doesn't repeatedly tell me that abuse is bad, therefore the depiction itself is irresponsible.”

something something silence magic | claurenz

Lorenz is leaning over Claude's shoulder from behind, fingers delicately tracing Claude's throat. Claude's inclining his head, looking up at Lorenz with heady eyes. He's wearing nothing but a pretty choker, glowing with silence magic runes.

it's sylvain situation o'clock

Linhardt's got a naked Sylvain tied to a chair, delicately poking at his raging erection with one finger. Sylvain is flushed all over, body taut with the strain the edging is putting him under. He's looking at Linhardt pleadingly. Linhardt meanwhile is sitting on the floor, one arm resting on the chair's armrest, clearly kinda bored with the situation.

Sylvain's kneeling in front of Hubert, naked. Hubert, still clothed, has a hand tangled in Sylvain's hair, directing him to the erection straining through his uniform. Sylvain's face is slack as he looks up, tongue tracing over the fabric. His hands are behind his back, though it's unclear if they're bound.

Post-battle. Hubert and Sylvain are alone in a war tent. Sylvain has sloppily removed parts of his armor, exposing his abdomen and a seeping stab wound. He is leaning against a table for support as Hubert stands in his space, looking at the injury. Hubert has one glove off, about to to help, but Sylvain is grabbing him by the arm and pushing his hand into the open wound. He's looking at Hubert intently, biting his lip, his face a mix of pleasure and pain as Hubert hesitantly pushes is thumb into the hole.

Miklan's bandit camp. Sylvain's been caught, his face is bloody and his hands are tied, his uniform torn and dirty. He's kneeling in front of Miklan, by the fire as Miklan eats some rabbit meat. Miklan is smiling, self indulgent, as he opens up an open palm with some food scraps, as if feeding a dog. Sylvain is cautiously leaning in, all the while looking at Miklan's face. They're surrounded by other bandits.

No. There is Sylvain Gautier at home.

When you say 'all erotica is bad, no exceptions' you inevitably end up down the rabbit hole of conservatism where LGBT folks, queer culture and anything deemed 'strange' sexually is renounced and eventually banned through legal means.

been a discord user 10+ years, so I would have had to be 3-7 years old when I started because they've put me in the 'unconfirmed' age bracket. makes it pretty clear that their supposed automatic method of determining the age of accounts is a baldfaced lie.

Omega Sylvain Weekend is almost upon us, time to share some of my past entries 🫡 Setvain | #OmegaSylvain26

Sylvain is bracing for a spanking from Seteth, palms flat on the table. Seteth's got one hand planted on the small his back, keeping Sylvain in position. There's a long ruler in his other hand. Sylvain's trying to look at Seteth over his shoulder, flushed and eyes welling up with tears.

More sketches: The spanking has triggered Sylvain's heat. There's a wet patch forming between his legs. Seteth says "Tch, of course. Such insolence." as he palms Sylvain's crotch gingerly. The heady embarrassment has Sylvain hiding his face in the crook of his arm, stuttering out a quiet curse.

not technically done for the event but it still counts | mikvain

Miklan and Sylvain having sex, back-to-front. Miklan's got one hand wrapped casually around Sylvain's throat, the other one stroking his clit. Sylvain's face is half hidden in his hair, but he's taking small, desperate breaths and writhing in his hold, gripping at the sheets. Miklan is leaning in to whisper in his ear, saying: "Need to come again, huh? My knot not enough for you, princess?"

on the one hand, yeah, I am truly sick of cishet culture dominating mainstream anime and video game culture, and yeah I also accept that this is where these cultural modes are currently at and I can't do much to affect change there. what I CAN do is write the queerest, nastiest fics possible 🥰
