I thought I had it, but then realised I'd actually had a load of likes on a post out of nowhere 🤷

Neil @not-again-with.bsky.social · 27/08/2026

Thanks to everyone for the love on my previous #Stonecast post, really wasn't expecting so many to like my painting of the #Stormcast. So here's another one, this time I've done one of the balista and crew, also thought of adding a touch of gold for certain items like some statues do have.

So I've taken a break from the ratfolk and been having a good witb some #Stormcast, always liked these models but could never find a colour scheme I liked. But I stumbled onto the #Stonecast and I've been enjoying it, fun, silly and very quick and simple. So prepare for more as I continue painting

I'd been looking at these myself, I may end up starting a mini record collection

Neil @not-again-with.bsky.social · 03/08/2026

Just looked as I'd not heard this either, still have a couple of green stuff left, but looking around Magic Sculpt seems to be an alternative, and readily available.

110

Neil @not-again-with.bsky.social · 03/08/2026

Ive seen some people mix green stuff and milliput together (greeniput) to give the best of both.

Neil @not-again-with.bsky.social · 13/07/2026

Yeah, when I saw his name trending i feared the worst. Can honestly say one of my all time fave actors and will be missed.

Opinions needed. I've got 3 trolls im planning to use in #Heroquest, they are painted just need a base. But I'm torn, do I go with their original round base, or the pill shaped ones. I think the pill ones will be easier with positioning on the board, but the round ones do give a more imposing feel.

The rat horde expands. 40 little ratfolk ready to cause chaos for my #Heroquest group.

Was it this one? bsky.app/profile/did:...

It's been a while, but the ratfolk (skaven) are on the move again, 40 of the little lovelies all built, based and primed ready to paint. These will be making an appearance in #Heroquest once I can sort out a series of quests and can work it into the narrative.

Absolutely loved Call of the Sea, and after playing the demo for Elder God's, looking forward to continuing the story.

Neil @not-again-with.bsky.social · 04/05/2026

A colleague at work had never heard it and now we torment her with it whenever she least expects it 🤣 I've even worked "that log had a child" into one of our Heroquest games.

010

Neil @not-again-with.bsky.social · 09/04/2026

A wonderful episode and a look behind the scenes of both Paul and SotD, would highly recommend you give it a listen.

I've got three lots of flowers (with extras added) in memory of my mum. I've just used some of the vases she had that fitted them.

Neil @not-again-with.bsky.social · 17/03/2026

More rats for the rat horde, these little swarms of rats where done with just a quick paint job. And putting all four together will make a formidable sight for my #Heroquest players.

Neil @not-again-with.bsky.social · 11/03/2026

Is that Nightshift? Remeber seeing it on KS and thinking it looked interesting.

000

Neil @not-again-with.bsky.social · 10/03/2026

Another addition to the rat horde, another miniture brought back. Will go well in #Heroquest as a leader of the other rat folk.

000

Neil @not-again-with.bsky.social · 06/03/2026

I've heard good things about Dolly Parton, I know she runs a program to give books to kids so they grow up with that chance to read.

Neil @not-again-with.bsky.social · 01/03/2026

I can never understand it too, its their winter coat, all dogs do it, in fact humans do it, in Yorkshire it's called "get ur big coat"

Neil @not-again-with.bsky.social · 27/02/2026

The rat horde grows once more. Tried some different stuff with this one, and had to make a bit of pipe as placed on a smaller base to fit in with #Heroquest. A newer model than previous ones. And if you look carefully you can see another of the rat horde in progress in the background.

It's an awesome collection (not envious of it all 😁) and makes you happy, so I would say get your happiness where you can.

010

Neil @not-again-with.bsky.social · 26/02/2026

Two cracking podcasts to listen to, what more could we need. Apart from the cheapshow lads 🤣

010

Neil @not-again-with.bsky.social · 25/02/2026

Just a quick little paint job on this Bard for #Heroquest. And why should just the heroes get tunes to help them, when the undead can knock out some bone chilling tunes too 💀 🎶 🎶

000

Neil @not-again-with.bsky.social · 24/02/2026

No rats today, but have been working on making interchangeable "paintings" for one of the #heroquest fireplaces. So ended up painting a couple of "inspired by" paintings, and then had a stupid idea.

And what's a rat horde, without a horde of rats. These will be there to run interference against my #heroquest group.

0131

Neil @not-again-with.bsky.social · 22/02/2026

Just put the finishing touches to the latest edition to the rat horde, and he's a chonky one. It's going to have some fun with my #heroquest group

072

Neil @not-again-with.bsky.social · 21/02/2026

Just a silly little rat today, but maybe they are important to the #Heroquest group as their holding a key to something, or maybe nothing.

091

Neil @not-again-with.bsky.social · 20/02/2026

The rat horde grows. Group shot, two then a close up. With more to come for my #Heroquest group to face.

071

Neil @not-again-with.bsky.social · 18/02/2026

Looks like there's going to be a rat problem for my #Heroquest group

1111

Neil @not-again-with.bsky.social · 18/02/2026

I've just seen that shot on the run up to their current match, and it was phenomenal

110

Neil @not-again-with.bsky.social · 18/02/2026

To this day, that is one of my favourites 🎆🎇🎆

010

Neil @not-again-with.bsky.social · 08/02/2026

Yeah, not having half the problems getting cards for my neice

010

Neil @not-again-with.bsky.social · 08/02/2026

I've always struggled to find good nephew cards for any age, he dosnt like football so that usually counts out the one or two they have to choose from.

110

Neil @not-again-with.bsky.social · 06/02/2026

Ok, i have to ask, is this going to be Thomas in the train sim world engine, so you're actually driving Thomas ?

Neil @not-again-with.bsky.social · 03/02/2026

Just downloaded to see if anything in my area (smallish town) and was surprised there is a fair few so will be giving it a go
