I made a new way to rewatch Die Hard. Tower Attack is a synchronized Movie Scoreboard delivered as an SRT subtitle track. It tracks Christmas references, crooks, victims, observations & more as the movie plays. You provide the movie. Tower Attack keeps score. $2.99 payhip.com/b/kpwbq

Promotional poster for Tower Attack Movie Scoreboard, a synchronized subtitle companion for Die Hard (1988). A nighttime skyscraper, helicopter, Santa hat and walkie-talkie surround a digital scoreboard tracking events including terrorists, victims, crooks, Christmas references and more. Large red text reads “Tower Attack,” with the tagline: “You provide the movie. Tower Attack keeps score.”

I saw this switcher and I can’t recommend anyone consider using a coaxial cable switcher to hook up retro consoles to any tv. Seriously this is the worst video signal you can get.

I plan on streaming later today. I am looking at playing Warrior Blade on my MiSTer FPGA. This arcade game is double screen. I tested it out earlier and it is a fun beat'em Up hack and slash fantasy game. I spent sometime setting up the OBS scene.

IMDb is one of my longest-running internet habits. I kept going back: looking up actors, following credits, checking connections, and letting one movie lead me to another. I wrote about that continued relationship with IMDb on Substack. open.substack.com/pub/nostalgi... #Film #IMDb

New on Substack: I wrote about IMDb as one of my longest-running internet habits — from old MacUser road maps to using it for actors, directors, DVDs, and all those “where have I seen that person before?” moments.

Setting up a new MiSTer FPGA stream scene for Darius II. The original arcade cabinet used a wild three-screen setup, so I’m building the layout around that ultra-wide presentation instead of forcing it into a normal 4:3 box. Not live yet — just getting everything dialed in. #MiSTerFPGA #DariusII
