My wife bought me and one of her close friends each a separate advent calendar priced in the $40-50 dollar range boasting "original art" and miniatures behind each window. There's definitely a mix of things I am comfortable modeling, but the main thing for me is buildings. Ever since I was little I used to draw isometric buildings like the ones I would see in RTS games like AOE II. Now I vend them at game and comic shops as DND map pieces or just desk ornaments.
