Been a while since I posted. Our mahjong club has been getting HUGE, and we have even more events to promote it so it'll likely continue to grow. Last week we had 34 people, a total of 8 tables going while two of us walked around and helped with questions. 7 first timers as well. Good stuff, chat

My friends and my mom helped to make 4 of these awesome DIY mahjong mats!! They work really well, even better than some off Amazon! Neoprene from JoAnn’s(RIP) and screen window borders from Lowes! Next we’ll see if we can make some that hold point sticks…

One of my students got offended today at me calling them silly. Made me sad they thought silly was a bad thing. Being silly is a GREAT thing and sometimes it’s all we can do to smile and help others smile in this sometimes stinky world.

I really hope this week is going well for all my bubbers(oomfs). If there are not any good things happening to me, they should at least be happening to other people who deserve it.

Quick! What are some random funny places to have a pop-up mahjong event? Or even just a funny photo shoot location of people playing mahjong? Like: the zoo, in a pool, on a hiking path, arby’s, etc.
