Great Estonian-Norwegian defence industry seminar in Tallinn. Defence minister Pevkur and I both emphasized the value of cooperation in order to be efficient. We need to increase our capabilities at a time when Europe needs to step up to deter Russia. Cooperation is the answer.

In May, I visited the Estonian-Russian border at Narva. Today, I was able to compare with the Norwegian-Russian border in the Arctic. The similarities are striking: Number of crossings are way down. And we are better prepared to take measures, including closing. Borders matter!
