Seriously, you don't. But you do need legal paperwork. Your filing with the state? We can handle that, we do formation filings all day long. You'll also need an operating agreement, an internal document that dictates how your LLC is managed, down to ownership percentages.

You don't "become an S-Corp" S-Corp is a tax status you elect, and you can do this AS an LLC or AS a Corporation. The real questions to be asking are how much risk are you taking on and how much money are you making? A lot of money? S-Corp might math out A lot of risk? Register as an LLC
