It most because they feel left behind. They dont know the stories or wrestlers and that can be intimidating to jump into. The reason they are finally checking it out is because wwe has truly lost the plot. But its definitely exaggerated to fit the youtube algorithm.

I like how I used to complain about #aew fans online, but then I stopped listening to podcast and got to know #wrestlesky and realized that AEW and Tony Khan really have created the best wrestling culture out there. There are exceptions to the rule of course, but AEW fans are class.

NEWS FLASH!!! Wrestlers have lives! It is very possible that your favorite wrestler might not want to be on tv. They could have personal matters perverting them from doing so. You would be surprised how often its a personal choice to step away or wait to come back. 🤦‍♂️💚🤼‍♂️

I think one of the hardest things is seeing your favorite wrestlers turn out to be a horrible human beings. We are seeing this now with Dustin, who we were just celebrating last year btw. For me it was AJ. They just slowly start to open their mouths and there disgusting ignorance falls out. #AEW

Danhaussen was always headed for the WWE and in my opinion not adult or outlandish enough to work long term in AEW. Not saying anything about him getting that chance. Office or injury Definitely! This is the first time I feel Lio has started to fit. The things he was doing with Action, was not it!

I personally never liked Danhausen. He never fit what AEW is! His persona was always ment to be for the other place. I think Lio Rush and the Dark Heart persona has something similar but is more of an AEW fit. I'm excited to see that develop.

This side of Lio, is the first time I personally have ever felt he completely fit in, in AEW. He could easy be a more creepy/ adult verson of Dan! That actuallys wrestles. The character is compelling to the point you want to know more and you want to see him interact with other wrestlers. #AEW

Lance will always be an extra in AEW. Thats not to say he couldn't be a main player for them but I also dont think he cares that much about his story. He's making good money. Gets to have a bad ass match here and there. Plus he gets to help the younger guys find there footing.

I've always thought this same thing, but when it comes to synchronized swimming in the Olympics. Matches are a time limited for the 2 wrestlers to put on an athletic and believable performance. Then, judges deciding the score of the match based on the athletic performance and how believable it was.

Yes, but this is literally the perception they want you to buy into. They want you to think they are the only one and that they are wrestling. When in reality they are probably the farthest thing from it. Its a business tactic they have been using for years. AEW was made to break that lock.

I would say they have a high audience, but I would not say their fan base is more than 50% of wrestling fans. There's plenty of wrestling fans that just dont fuck with the product and more leaving everyday because of the mega and trump support.
