I think it's funny that one of the best things about camping is that shower you take when you finally get home! Don't get me wrong, I love the woods, but a hot shower is pretty nice too!

I saw a local production of Phantom of the Opera Thursday, and they absolutely nailed it! I recommend people get out and support local theater and live shows. There's something really special about seeing people perform, and in this case again hearing some incredible singing!

So I'm at Universal Studios for vacation, and it's kind of inverted because I'm the one geeking out and smiling at the actors playing the characters and getting my picture taken while my son eye rolls. But if given the opportunity to hug Homer Simpson, I'm taking it!

You know, sometimes after a long run I get home and shower, and the window is open (2nd floor, and head high) and I can look out and see the moon while washing off. It makes everything feel kind of all right!

I'm now having an irrational fear of getting sick tonight, since my kiddo is sick today. My whole office knows I'm a Seahawks fan, so no matter what I need to show up, because no one would believe I was actually sick after that win! Go Seahawks!

One thing I think people don't realize with small independent book sellers, is that you can have a good time with the owners and staff helping you find a book. I just geeked out with a local shop owner over @joeabercrombie.com's work while he was showing me similar books while I wait for Devils 2!

Ugh, shopping for the holidays is a pain. Went to Kohl's to buy Christmas clothes for the kid. Distracted him at the toys while my wife looked at clothes. Price things didn't show anything, so I searched online. I saw a good deal for a Lego set, but at check out, that was the online only price. Why?
