In the UK, a Labour MP got challenged for going to the Opera. As if they were out of touch with working class voters. It's cheaper to go to the Opera in a lot of cities, especially in the north - thanks to the brilliant @operanorth.co.uk - than it is to go to football, or rugby league.

As every working class boy knows, it's one or the other. People either adapt your first or second name. I was always Kingy. The classic -Y ending from olde playground. No one would call me Chrissy Kingy. That makes no sense. I knew Chrissys. But they were always double barreled with -boy.
