about all that was lost

the mourning feels endless
and I hide in my dreams

The spreading flows look like a tangle of braided rivers, just… braided lava.

the morning sun was a distant glare
behind chimneys that darken the sky
breathing in the ash-filled air
the tide of the day passes by

deafening thunder of stomping boots
an echo from a past without end
something monstrous spreading its roots
feeding off humans, dreams and land

lives lived walking on a rope
holding on for one more day
whispered words, a silent hope
that the wind carries away

and as the sun leaves us in the dark
we give each other our souls to keep
together becoming an ark
and the night howls us to sleep

Freigesprochene dürfen demnach nicht noch einmal für dieselbe Tat angeklagt werden, wenn z. B. DNA-Spuren vorliegen, die früher noch nicht ausgewertet werden konnten

Laut Gericht sollen Freigesprochene nicht ständig befürchten müssen, dass ihnen erneut der Prozess gemacht wird

Das Gericht kippte eine Reform von 2021 - dadurch konnten Strafprozesse bei schwersten Verbrechen wieder aufgenommen werden

Der Hintergrund-Fall
1981 wurde eine 17-Jährige ermordet. Ein Verdächtiger wurde rechtskräftig freigesprochen.
2012 tauchen neue DNA-Beweise auf, die ihn schwer belasten. Er wird 2022 erneut angeklagt und legt Verfassungsbeschwerde ein.
