Which is under sanctions. And doesn't have any to spare. Canada goes to Europe so he goes to dictators. Hmmm

One of Trumps favourite things to do is say "people are saying..." then make some ridiculous statement. I suggest reporters take the same approach. "People are saying you wear a diaper/ People are saying you are mentally deranged/ People are saying you have a small penis. Do you have a comment?"

I support restricting voting rights. There should be a set of skill testing questions. 1) if someone lies to you 100 times, are they a)less likely to lie again or b)more likely to lie again. 2) Do you think you are getting $5k? a) yes b) no. Trump lackeys like Kushner talk about how to make the peace in Ukraine a "win-win", saying that's how to get conflict ended. But for US/Iran, they seem determined to make it "win-lose". Same with Canada/US trade war. Also they are so bad at it, they seem determined to make sure the US is the loser.

The Canadian response to US tariffs is to tariff specifc US goods which minimize impact on Canadians, hit red districts hardest and then use the funds raised to help industries hurt by US tariffs. This is what a strategy looks like. From the US side? Where are the revenues going?

Trumps lackeys say Canada's unwillingness to accept a bad trade deal is for 'political reasons'. Mr. Carney has a majority government does not need to face an election until 2029. There is a small part of me that wishes I was American so that I could vote against Trump and his lackeys. I am appalled by the lack of gratitude by Mr.Carney. Has he said 'thank you' once to President Trump? After all, the President has made Canada a hero internationally and driven national pride through the roof. Personally, Mr.Trump has made Carney look like a genius and true leader. So ungrateful.

Trump talks about who has the 'cards' and, admittedly, the US has good ones. But, he doesn't get his opponents see the game differently. They won't 'fold' when he bluffs. They can't. Survival depends on it. Trump also can't say 'I won' and walk away. Plus he's playing "Old Maid" at the poker table.

In this trade war, Canada doesn't have to destroy the US economy. It doesn't need to cost good Americans their jobs nor should it. All Canada needs to do is hurt GOP election chances. How can anyone consider Trump a 'master deal maker'? Give me everything I want in exchange for nothing is not 'deal making'. It's a child having a tantrum. Greenland, Iran, Canada, Ukraine. When someone says 'no, we will not surrender' he seems baffled. It's all or nothing and, mostly, it's nothing.

Canada make a deal with the US putting US alcohol back on the shelves, lets US goods in with no tariff, gives US milk and cheese access to our markets. I still won't be buying any of it. I'll look for Canadian, Mexican, European made. That isn't a government policy. It is me sick of Trumps antics.
