And that’s just a small sampling of the lowlights

Lillard is so soft. Gave the middle finger to a fanbase that loved him and was loyal by demanding a trade, then comes back and gets paid to sit the year out and expects those fans to forgive and forget but hold a grudge for having his celebration mocked? What an entitled whiny hypocrite

The league has become an unscrupulous entity. I hope Wemby doesn’t lose his principals like so many other young and impressionable players have. He is such a great role model and I wholeheartedly value his integrity and introspectiveness

Looking for *paid* partnerships to share his faith. Hard to believe Mazzulla/Tebow were ignorant to the exploitation. taking a stand only when the press becomes negative!

Love love love Spicy, but that is too much. Something around 3/120 would make sense.

I appreciate this stance especially because of the financial hit you’re taking. I feel like a hypocrite because I support the nba, the worst offender, but have stopped listening to pacers pods that promote gambling. Mainly because there are other excellent options, like yourself.

At least we can agree on we win if Hali didn’t get injured haha

Is MT the sole reason we lost, absolutely not. But I would put him at the top

northeastnightmare.bsky.social @northeastnightmare.bsky.social · 11/09/2026
Then you’re arguing games 1-6 of finals. Heres the full 7, which i count. Had MT played to his level in the series, Pacers win before game 7, Hali doesn’t rupture his achilles. Had he played to his level maybe we win when Hali went down. Im not arguing for Hali playing great, but for MT playing bad

3/69 wouldve been an overpay, MT may be laughing but the Bucks aren’t. And the pacers are sighing in relief for the bullet they dodged. Nothing either of us says will change each others minds. But i feel im looking at this through a pragmatic lens and not an emotional one

Haha, come on, you’re comparing his contract to other bad guard contracts. MT is not better than Kessler, lets not get goofy. MT is now considered a bad contract, rumors are bucks want off him but don’t have takers

Sure, but the QO was an affordable 1 year option. I had no belief BM was going to be there longterm

northeastnightmare.bsky.social @northeastnightmare.bsky.social · 10/09/2026
Im sure the illness contributed some but he was exposed in other series too. Owning Chet is laughable- he’s overrated, slow and and a beanpole. Bradley/Bryant provided toughness MT lacked(s).

northeastnightmare.bsky.social @northeastnightmare.bsky.social · 10/09/2026
Where are you getting your stats? MT shot 21.4% from 3, Hali 35.6% in the finals. Also biggest difference if their shots arent falling- Hali excels at other things, including elevating everyone around him. MT provides nothing but decent rim protection. But that is null considering guards bullied him

northeastnightmare.bsky.social @northeastnightmare.bsky.social · 10/09/2026
Possibly, but they could have extended him the QO, pretty much what Oubre is making. Tho id rather Oubre for this year anyway. They basically gave an overpaid Ijax and two firsts for a much better and less expensive center for a better opportunity to win a chip these next two years.

No it was Hali as well, Rick was his coach before Hali and MT took a long overdue jump after he arrived
000 0
northeastnightmare.bsky.social @northeastnightmare.bsky.social · 10/09/2026
Ill also say if it weren’t for Hali’s injury they likely wouldve went into the tax to resign him. He kept that promise in spirit by going into it this year. MT would’ve put up similar numbers in Indy as he did in Mil despite how Rick utilized him. He’s a severely limited center, as exposed in finals

northeastnightmare.bsky.social @northeastnightmare.bsky.social · 10/09/2026
They were absolutely not going to give him 5/125, he would’ve signed it. The rumors were 4/100 with a team option. MT wanted those guaranteed extra years. Of course you’re entitled to your opinion but you are in the minority in thinking they screwed MT, his contract is considered negative now

northeastnightmare.bsky.social @northeastnightmare.bsky.social · 10/09/2026
Zu makes 19.5, MT, 26.5. Thats 7 mil. They would’ve been in the second apron if you add Ijax, Wagler, subtract Oubre, add garbage minimums. Also would have jeopardized Nesmiths extension
000 0
northeastnightmare.bsky.social @northeastnightmare.bsky.social · 10/09/2026
Agreed. And if we signed MT to that horrid contract, had Ijax, Wagler, we’d be in the 2nd apron with a worse team. And probably wouldve lost BM for nothing like Clips did. Considering what Lakers gave up for Kessler and his contract, Zubac trade looks savvy. And i wasn’t a huge fan of it initially

If Huff can get his 3 to 37/38% ill be happy with him as primary backup. He shot 40% in Memphis. I feel he can do it by taking smarter shots/return of Hali. I support Obi playing small ball 5 but i don’t want to rely on it for significant minutes over the long season, something like 8-10 min.

northeastnightmare.bsky.social @northeastnightmare.bsky.social · 10/09/2026
Zubac and the financial difference and maneuvering gives us a much better chance at a championship over the next two seasons than the alternative. MT is the player he was before Hali came to town. If anything, worse. Also, i love Ijax but ill contest Huff is a better fit as a backup.

northeastnightmare.bsky.social @northeastnightmare.bsky.social · 10/09/2026
Started in finals but replaced by 3rd stringers bradley/bryant because his shooting was horrible and he was bullied inside. Also, difference between MT/Ijax salary vs Zubac is 14mil. The move gave us flexibility to retain depth. Who knows what Wagler will become but he wasn’t going to get minutes

I think most fans agree with the article. Excellent move by the FO not to overpay, he’s not even a top 20 center. I agree his production dropped because in Indy he had a great coach and played with a point god but if his 3 isn’t falling he’s pedestrian at best and a liability at worst. See finals

Pretty sure arbitration is not an option. Thats why Silver didn’t punish Leonard because players can and he’s afraid of the players association. Franchises can’t i believe

‘To his credit’?! Leonard took no accountability, feigned innocence and blamed his inner circle. He deserves no credit. He’s a liar, a cheat and a fraud

Oh he knew what was going on. He took no personal accountability and said it was a lapse of judgment by his inner circle. Shameful he wasn’t suspended minimum one year and having to surrender those fraudulent endorsements. Silver bent over for the players association

northeastnightmare.bsky.social @northeastnightmare.bsky.social · 03/09/2026
Wild that at minimum Leonard didn’t have to give back the money from those illegal endorsements. Should’ve been suspended a year. League and players association making it known players will not be held accountable for back door deals.

Basically trying to pull on heart strings without acknowledging his ungrateful, backstabbing behavior towards an organization that made him relevant. Fake humility, revisionist reflection, selective memory. If he was any good he wouldn’t have to put out this embarrassing plea for charity. Pathetic

Typical absence of self awareness or accountability. He left out the part where he become too good for the Pacers franchise and fans who wholeheartedly embraced him by asking opponents ‘can i come play with y’all?’ in front of his teammates. He wanted to pursue a music career in Miami

Zu trade looking better because this was probably his fate if he wasn’t traded, as Pacers are well known for releasing/waiving players per their request to the detriment of their team. Kind of shocked Clips didn’t keep him on the QA or get compensation in a trade.

There are better options out there and he probably wants to play so very unlikely. but if the FA well dries and he’s willing to sit on the bench, Pacers could sign him early November for vet min.

Breaking News: Wherever LeBron signs his new team will need to add his gerbil on a 2way contract which means this will be the first time in nba history where a player and pet will suit up for the same team!

I see this, and support it if we had 15 healthy guys but he’s slotting in at the 12/13th. Not a huge deal, but was hoping we’d sign someone who could legitimately compete with Shep, Jarace, Huff for a rotation role. But then again, that player may want to be guaranteed a role and not fight for one

Don’t like this unless its non guaranteed 1. I’d rather Potter- bigger, slightly less expensive contract, slightly more talented 2. If waiving Potter or Qjax there are better and more impactful minimum players out there.
