Canadian Snowbirds travel to the Southern US to get away from the winter here in Canada. Many will own a property, which they pay Annual fees. This is not a vacation but a lifestyle. I actually don’t think the $30 fee will deter many but it may.

I watched again this morning on #globalnews.ca that the reason Canadians are not going to the US is because of the Tariffs again. For some reason the possibility of being detained by ICE for no reason at all or sitting in lines for hours while trying to return to Canada, although I am not sure this

This a case where two things need to happen, 1. He needs to get a security clearance before he can run. 2. Parliament needs to amend the election laws to say that person must live in a riding for at least 1 yr before they can run for parliament in that riding.
