the final dungeon of evercold will also be a tour of the lost, frozen world, except now there's action in it and the villain is monologuing over it. despite killing the emotionally complex final boss in their transformed state, some version of them will live on. itll be called Let It Go or some shit

Yeah this is by far my least favorite thing in the game. The game wants you to accept the assertion that the in-universe genocide was somehow a justifiable morally grey action, which A) I think is a bad creative decision and B) I don't think is sufficiently justified so it comes off as "cope".
