I grew up in a place with very few people and no outside lighting of any kind. When I looked out my sliding glass door, I saw infinite darkness. It made my already small house feel tiny. Anything could've been out there. Maybe even a trickster.

It really is more about the 'vibe' of the shape rather than getting it totally correct to some kind of proportion or something. You need to think of a big wide balloon and any clothing on it exerting physics in the way that it would to such a thing. Rattiesteps & Damon do good ones.
