To clarify, I’m not against archiving in general. My issue «personally» is specifically with e621. It’s a heavily NSFW-oriented site, and I don’t want my work associated with that space x) That’s the part that makes me uncomfortable and I would like it to be respected

I understand that perspective, and I know some people see it as preservation. But it still makes me uncomfortable. At the end of the day, it’s my work, and I’d rather have some say in where it gets uploaded or archived. People having good intentions doesn’t really change that boundary for me

Talking abt +18 websites and stuff. Im not a nsfw artist. Sometimes I draw suggestive, but never more than that cuz im uncomfortable. I put a lot of personal feeling into my work, so I’d really appreciate some respect for it too. Thank you x)

Just a gentle reminder since I mentioned this on X too. I’m not comfortable with my art being reposted to other sites without my consent. I know I can’t control the internet, but that doesn’t make the discomfort any less real.
