These AI companies... We knew all this. We knew of all these warnings. We knew of them before these companies were more than a thought. We don't need some "AI expert" to tell us it's gonna kill us all. If it does, it's because these sickos wants it to.

Today our King, Harald V, passed away. Always a power for good, he united the nation during the best of times and the worst. He will be missed.

If you stream, you may wanna toggle this off. Not that it probably matters cos these cunts will train their fascist machine regardless. But figured you'd like to know, at least.

Back home again from an amazing trip. Didn't last as long as I expected, but that didn't hinder the experience. Got a whole bunch of stories for when I return to stream tonight!

So far on the trip we've been driving through Trondheim, Kristiansund and Molde, followed by a number of islands, bridges and ferries, before we arrived in Bergen yesterday. Already gotten a ton of pictures for a future project but we still have a long road ahead.

Google changing their search engine, leaning further into AI, and I'm over here wondering 'who asked'? They never integrated an option regarding AI Overview, and now they're forcing it on us further. They've really lost touch with reality. Well, time to look for a search engine that doesn't use AI.

How the week started: I'm gonna make some bread and play Monster Hunter Wilds : ) How the week ends: Fever hallucinations of being a rock, or suddenly finding myself in an abandoned train station. Feel more like a ghoul than a skeleton right now

Could we stop this weird race for mass surveillance, and maybe have another space race or something? Maybe see who can make the best non-billionaire off-world habitats

Forgot to turn on mic after a phone call. At least half the stream without mic... Nooooooooooooo! At least we were all recording, so we can Frankenstein the recordings. Scuff from the start, Breezy without audio us from the start to middle, me without audio from middle to end. It can work...

I'm not a huge fan of spiders. Especially coin-sized fast ones. That said, I just found a tiny spider on my desk. Definitely a spawn of the one that was occupying my window a while ago. Can't have been larger than a grain of sand Used a glass and paper to move it outside. Alive for a day more.

I went with an OBS update earlier and did not notice that it broke a part of my setup that now makes me disappear entirely whenever I speak. Not sure if I will be streaming today after all, then, or just pick it back up tomorrow - either way, delayed.

Tonight's d&d session lasted into the morning for me. And what better way to finish a good d&d session than to go out and bask in the rising sun? I go sleep now, and dream up the next parts of our adventure.

I'll be gone on an expedition until sunday, but will return to streaming once I'm back! Just gotta get through this week and not think about the dozens of spiders staring at me...

Unfortunately, there will not be a d&d stream tomorrow as I messed up last stream and overexerted myself. Voice ain't doing too good. That said, I'll be back with streams as soon as I get better.

After a bad week, I wondered if I should even go back to streaming yet or wait a bit more. But I'm glad I did, because during my stream of Still Wakes the Deep, I got a big raid and plenty of new followers, which really made my day that much more special.

Nord @nordicadventurer.bsky.social · 20/04/2025

I've been offline since last sunday, due to personal reasons. Returning to streaming tomorrow, now definitely with Still Wakes the Deep. Tuesday... if the rumors are true, and a certain game releases on Monday, I might stream that.

One of the most surprising animes I've watched recently has got to be Orb: On the Movements of the Earth. I had not heard a word about it before I incidentally found it on netflix, hidden under a bunch of other shows of which I had no interest.

As for why my streams kept dropping frames. I didn't use to have that issue, so I looked up in my settings multiple times and enabled dynamic bitrate to test. Couldn't enable dynamic bitrate due to Enhanced Broadcasting. From there it was a short walk to disable that and restore my bitrate.

Stream tonight was a lot of fun! I am so happy I brought my friends in on this idea. Thanks especially to @ninaaaa222.bsky.social for making the models for our characters, they made it that much better. We would have gone on for a bit, but I had internet issues, which I have now finally solved!
