Great 5.6 mile hike with Zelaine at Point Lobos State Natural Sanctuary in Carmel. Then had an early dinner in downtown Carmel were we saw electric bikes with doggies riding in the sidecar beside their owners, so adorable! #Carmel #Hiking #MovingMeditation

Thank you to the #Capitola crew for building an outstanding bridge across Capitola Ave! Wonderful to have a safe pedestrian sidewalk and a nice wide bike lane on both sides of the bridge. Our community is very blessed to have improved infrastructure connecting different modalities of transportation.

“Punching up” is one of the unspoken rules of comedy, what makes it important during hard times. Punching up is when a comedian uses comedy, from jokes to slapstick to criticize those in power. The new doc “Mel Brooks:The 99 Year Old Man!” uses farce to reveal the stupidity of prejudice, corruption

Not “funny” bone as I decided not to do the club ride today (nice weather😩) but stayed home with the husband as he was sick & we watched movies. Cocooning was nice🥰

#Cyclists doing 15 mins intense intervals released 2.5x the usual number of stem cell circulation than doing regular 45 mins intense intervals steady riding.

This is GlenHaven, a Cat3 hill with 4-6% grades and 6-13% sections. This counts as max Vo2 hill climbing. I struggle keeping age under 155 bpm, I will keep trying

Trying to keep steady cadence on a cat 3 hill but I’m so slow! 🤪

Losing fat, finally! The only difference is, at least what I can see, is my intensity of workouts.

Just watched #Sinners #Prime it’s hard to rate this one. There were strong elements of great blues & visual storytelling, enjoyed the period aspect & strong likable characters but once the vampires came the story became disjointed. Maybe better editing could have saved. www.imdb.com/title/tt3119...

#Cycling Training: Last yr I got an EV commuter bike but since walking, using weights & increased riding I’ve lost a lot of weight and feel great. I would like my winter training to build a base so I can climb. Question is do I use the EV for the punchy climbs or do I suffer with the acoustic bike?
