BTW, I just thought of something: is the Nuxt v4 CLI optimized for AI agents? I often find that my agents start the dev server / run some commands on their own, so it would be nice to have a dedicated output mode for them.

> So, was that a bug fix, refactor, or new feature? I try to follow these rules: the title should explain what the description should explain why (not how) the scope should briefly describe the intent of the change (way shorter why) That means the same change can reasonably have different types.

> Type is Redundant and Restrictive Types are restrictive, but IMO that’s the point. They push you to plan your work before doing it and then commit to commit it in small chunks instead of adding a scope at the end. Of course it is always possible, but it motivates you, as combining scopes is bad.

Different projects have different needs, and CC isn’t perfect for all of them, but it can still be useful, fe.: small libraries, where you don't have multiple scopes, OSS projects where you are increased only in bugfixes etc. If you can, I'd love to discuss it somewhere without a 300-char limit...

Building LEGO while listening to good music and watching your agents actually get things done has to be one of the best feelings.

Nuxt 5 still has a long way to go, but early benchmarks on my fairly medium size app look very promising. Build time dropped from ~33.2s to ~17.8s: about 46% faster. Take these numbers with a big grain of salt, since it is still in development, but let's hope we can push it even further.

This reminds me of Kotlin, the ketchup we have in Poland.
Bottle of mild Kotlin ketchup on a white background, in red and green packaging with a large “Kotlin” logo and a tomato graphic.

For all 🐈 and Markdown lovers - I just published comark-cat, a lightweight Markdown renderer for your terminal, powered by Comark. npm install -g comark-cat npmx.dev/package/coma...
Terminal screenshot showing a preview of the README.md file in comark-cat, including a heading, a NOTE block, a feature table, a syntax-highlighted TypeScript code block, and a thank-you message to the Comark project.

It really depends on what you want to do - classic sightseeing, or something else. But if I had to pick just one city, it would probably be Kraków. And no matter where you go, definitely try some Polish cuisine (especially pierogi)!

My email inbox is constantly flooded with emails about new AI features and random sales pitches. It is genuinely refreshing to get one from "Piotr from Blacksmith" saying my GitHub Actions are getting faster for free - and I don’t need to do anything.
Screenshot of an email from Blacksmith announcing free container caching for all organizations. The feature keeps container images warm across workflow runs, reducing repeated downloads and speeding up jobs. Rollout begins Monday, August 10, and will take 3–4 weeks. No action is required.

I’ve just migrated the documentation for `nuxt-open-fetch` and `@norbiros/nuxt-auto-form` to Docus. It means I now get some great features out of the box, less boilerplate and easier-to-maintain documentation. annd I may also contribute a few improvements back to docus!

Did you know that GitHub Actions now supports the `parallel` keyword? I was waiting for something like this for sooo long! And I only found out about it thanks to PRs opened by @luc122c.bsky.social for Nuxt, Nitro, and other big projects in the ecosystem.

How does its performance compare to js-yaml? I’d love to migrate many libraries to y'all, but the performance overhead is a big concern.

It was obviously a bug. It should be fixed in github.com/nuxt/cli/pul..., and Nuxt will now clearly indicate that you’re using Vite+

I didn’t know Nuxt was using Vite 0.2.6. That seems a little bit old.

I've just tried a similar trick on an AI agent that offered to "organically promote" my GitHub repositories and I confirm this strategy is really fun.

It’s not just about removing packages, the existing ones also get more lightweight and faster. And we’re not done yet! In your project, we could go even further by replacing `picolors` with native Node.js APIs and `semver` with `verkit` etc.

After nearly four years, @jetbrains.com IDEs finally support GitHub alert syntax. Could we get proper highlighting for diff code blocks next, please?

Yeah, I mentioned that in the RFC. Babel estree plugin makes the babel serialization slower, but based on my initial tests upgrade to babel 8 also might have a negative impact. Tje question is how much, and are we willing to pay that, so shortly we can migrate to Oxc which will be even faster?

I’ve published my first Vue RFC, proposing a parser-agnostic AST contract for Vue. The goal is to make it possible to replace `@babel/parser` with parsers such as Oxc or Yuku in the future 👀 If you have any feedback, it would be greatly appreciated! github.com/vuejs/rfcs/d...

so true! the amount of reviews that I accidentally delayed because of that is huge. Do you maybe know any workarounds for now?

It’s still possible to do this through the JSON formatter. And if you’re running in manual mode, you’ll probably need to accept a query or wget command, but still I'm unsure about that

I wonder whether ESLint/Oxlint should show rule documentation links to agents that invoke them (fe. a website/markdown). It would help agents understand complex rules better, but it also creates a real prompt-injection risk.

My first ever blog post! It's about the tooling improvements coming for Nuxt developers - what's changing, when it lands, and who we have to thank (@voidzero.dev and @nuxtlabs.com are behind a lot of it). I would really appreciate any feedback. norbiros.dev/blog/nuxt-dx...
