the latest innovation in "nora reuses specialized ceramic objects" is consumable ceramic tips for plasma torches. i will cover them in mold release and use them to make the centers of this year's wreaths, if everything goes well

i figured out i can put mold release on these and put glass around them to make a hole for cord. the normal method for this is a wet drill press so it avoids having to buy that. and the surface tension gives it a nicer finish imo

i am looking for a set of sifters like this in multiple sizes of both bowls and mesh with either ribbed handles or handles that i can carve ribbing into. i could just buy the glass version but a lot of glass fusing tools are actually made for other things and marked up 3x for the hobbiest market

a set of enamel sifters, they are kind of spoon-like with the bowl being a little cup with a mesh bottom and a handle. they are in several sizes

these are all glass patterns i made this week. i make sheets like this and then chop em up for pendant components. they are becoming a personal specialty

teal, turquoise and white pattern in partial shadow, revealing the way the transparency in the transparent the and turquoise create depth and darkness. it looks like sea foam

glass sheet about 10 inches wide and 4 inches high with a firey pattern that reveals cell patterns. i did it on a white sheet so there are lighter bits around the edges

im running some stuff through the kiln with temperatures in the 1350F range for a little extra rounding. most of the ones i did yesterday need more time but i had some come out pretty nice in the first attempt

round glass cabochon about 3 inches across with detailed abstract patterns, dichroic and bumpy bits

2 inch round cabochon with swirling patterns and a bumpy design

blue teardrop shaped pendant with an abstract rainbow across one side and bumpy glass dots on top

green and purple circle pendant with a huge blown out pansy design and a bunch of little purple guy faces

i started reading a new book (audio) and got so caught up in it that i did this

kiln shelf with about two dozen circle molds, a spiral, a festoon choker, 4x circle pendants, two square buttons and 6x teardrops. the patterns are getting more complicated
