Chaos Court: Case #001 The accused claims they opened the notes app “just to write one thing down.” Three hours later, they have: - Renamed the note - Changed the colour - Created a folder - Forgotten the original thing What is the verdict? Share in the comments 👇

One-star review of having a routine: Great concept. Keeps changing without warning.

Overthinking a thing → not doing the thing → having more time to overthink the thing. That loop is not a personal failing. Sometimes, an unopened email can feel like a much bigger threat than it actually is, and that feeling can keep you stuck. The tiger is not real. The freeze is.

[1/2] ADHD solo? Brutal. NoPlex Supporters let a trusted human (partner, friend, therapist) tag in on tasks. They get pings if you’re stuck – no judgment, just backup.

Overwhelmed by 50 tasks? Horizon is NoPlex’s distraction‑free zone: drag in TODAY’s priorities only. No scrolling through ancient to‑dos. No overwhelm. Just what matters, right now. ADHD brains thrive when options shrink. Try it: buff.ly/H3w0Ull

Why ADHD brains swing between distraction and hyperfocus People think ADHD is “can’t focus.” Reality: it’s “focus is stuck on chaos mode or god‑tier sniper mode, with no middle.”

"Work smarter, not harder" assumes the baseline is the same for everyone. It isn't. When your nervous system is already running in survival mode, spending energy on masking, self-monitoring, and overcompensating just to appear functional, discipline-based productivity frameworks don't help.

Did you know there's a type of ADHD that looks like daydreaming, losing your keys, and forgetting what you were doing mid-sentence? That's called inattentive ADHD, and it's one of the most underdiagnosed conditions in adults. Most people picture ADHD as hyperactive:

You can't fix someone else's ADHD. You can stop accidentally making it worse. When you love someone with ADHD, the impulse is to organize the chaos for them. Color-coded calendars. Shared task lists. "Did you remember the thing?" texts that you swear are gentle. None of it is wrong.

""have you tried time-blocking?"" yes. my time blocks staged a mutiny. they are now blocking ME from doing anything.

Anxiety doesn't always start as a thought. Sometimes it's a tight chest and a racing heart, and your brain spends the next hour inventing a reason to match the feeling. Naming it as a body thing — not a character thing — is where it starts to loosen its grip. 🧡

Your Horizon view in NoPlex hides everything that isn’t today. That sounds simple. For ADHD brains staring down 60 overdue tasks? It’s the difference between action and shutdown. Have you tried?

Ever replay a tiny comment for days and feel physically sick about it? That’s a very ADHD thing. Studies on rejection sensitivity in ADHD show folks often experience emotional pain after perceived criticism, then cope by masking, people‑pleasing, or disappearing completely.

ADHD twist: you either can’t start the task at all… or you look up and somehow it’s 03:17 and you forgot to eat.

Let’s normalize ADHD chaos. I’ll start: I have 3 different urgent tasks and I’m ignoring all of them to write this post. Your turn.

"Have you tried… just focusing?” Bestie my brain is 37 tabs, 5 playlists, and 3 parallel universes. I am already doing the impossible.

ADHD + depression is: “I have 100 things to do.” “I'm too overwhelmed to start.” “Also I feel guilty for not starting.” Repeat until bedtime.
000
NoPlex @noplex.app · 10/04/2026
When ADHD and depression overlap, the problem often isn’t knowing what to do. It is having the energy, clarity, and self-trust to do it in a brain that already struggles with organization and follow-through.

NoPlex @noplex.app · 02/04/2026
If your brain does “I’m exhausted, so I avoid, then I feel worse, so I avoid more,” you are not a failure. That’s a loop. Loops need scaffolding: smaller tasks, external reminders, gentle routines, and one visible next step at a time.

NoPlex @noplex.app · 25/03/2026
AuDHD is not “autism plus extra distraction". And it's not a contradiction either. The overlap creates a specific kind of friction: needing predictability while also struggling to sustain attention, start tasks, or manage transitions. 🧵 1/3

ADHD time isn’t “5 minutes late,” it’s - Now - Not now - Oops the day ended If your planner doesn’t understand that, it’s not you that’s broken.

Tasks don’t judge. Neither do we. NoPlex is built for slow starts and restarts. You’re right on time.

Productivity culture be like: “If you’re tired, burnt out, overstimulated and behind, just wake up at 5am and buy a $90 planner.” Sir, I need a new nervous system, not stationery.

Let’s talk about what dopamine dysregulation actually means (and why your ADHD isn’t broken) You’ve probably heard the headline: ""ADHD = dopamine dysregulation."" But what does that actually mean in your real life?

Why people leave productivity apps after 3 days: - Too complicated. - Makes them feel bad. - Doesn't match how their brain actually works. We built NoPlex around a different idea: Your brain works in chaos. So should your system.

Many don’t realize that sensory challenges contribute heavily to anxiety and burnout for people with ADHD. Simple adjustments such as lowering volume, seeking quieter settings, or using comforting routines can help you reclaim control over overstimulation.

Struggling to focus lately? You might be dealing with CIAD, a state where your attention feels constantly under attack because of environment, stress, and overstimulation. You don’t need an ADHD diagnosis for this to affect you. 1/5 🧵

Mundane tasks can feel like huge obstacles, especially for people with ADHD. Laundry, emails, paperwork… they drain motivation because the brain craves stimulation and quick reward. When that is missing, boredom hits fast and progress stalls. 1/6 🧵

Add rejection sensitivity to the mix, and family gatherings become high-stakes emotional situations where expectations vs. reality trigger shame and burnout.
