Yesterday I was busy from 9 am to 9 pm, and it took its toll. Today I haven't gotten anything done. Tried to do some pixel art and it just didn't go anywhere. Maybe tomorrow I'll do more art, maybe open up Godot again after a while too. But now my PhD application and funding applications are in! 🎉

This week has been kicking my butt! Submitted my PhD application today, been doing funding applications, sorting out paperwork and even managed to get sick too! I'm better now though, but I have been barely able to do any pixel art.

#Septembit Day 5 "Desert". I'm was so busy with the PhD application all day I wasn't able to spend as much time on this as I had wanted. But it is still done! A desert by a girl who's never seen one.

#Septembit Day 4 "Mountain". I don't work on Saturdays so I'm still a bit behind the schedule, but by Wednesday I should be on track. Doing this made me realize that I, living in a mountainless country, don't have like intuitive sense of how mountains look 😅 Thus, I used a painting for a reference

Jumping on #Septembit challenge a bit late. This is my first landscape pixel art I've ever tried and I'm so glad I did, because it was fun. And super educative too. I'll try to catch up, but as a newbie I'm pretty slow at this :D This is day 1: Home

Here's what I've been working on today: making my first proper sprite sheet. I'm really struggling with getting sprites for the running animation to feel right, but the very first one is my favorite from the sprite sheet altogether.
