From what I can tell so far from my limited use of this app, Bluesky contains mostly these guys: -Guy determined to make everything political but has contradictory and black-and-white thinking -Furry artist with a Patreon -Almost-porn artist with a Patreon (usually of video game characters)

If someone doesn't seem ashamed or embarrassed about simply existing or occupying space then I don't know if I can trust them

Was doing research for an essay and while looking into architectural theory stumbled into Fisher's concept of non-time and the inability for modern culture to imagine an alternative to the past (similar to capitalist realism). Anyway, I'm watching the new 'Resident Evil' movie with my sister tonight

Control is one of my favourite games. Huge fan of that vibe and playstyle. Looking forward to Control Resonant but will probably pick it up at the end of the year. This is the only major release this year that I am this excited for. Remedy's never let me down yet, AW2 is in contention for my GOAT

New Ocarina of Time remake looks cool. To me, it sort of looks like a 'super OoT 3DS+++" in that it's fundamentally a very true-to-the-original OoT with high parity and faithfulness but more modern visuals, audio and QoL. In other words, awesome. I just happen to not want 'super OoT 3DS+++".

I don't know who needs to hear this, but not every mythological entity is a "fae".

I think it's a shame the Clacton by-election has been swarmed by more joke candidates. I get most of them have been around for a long time, but, while it was an extremely slim possibility, having all of the non-Farage voters concentrated in only one option could've been funny...

The lack of physical disks in the future sucks, but is a sensible business decision that we've all seen coming for a long time now. I knew physical media was in its twilight years while building my collection. It's enough to lose me as a customer, but they're sadly happy to lose me, and profit.

I don't do "agentic coding" with Claude. I don't "consult Codex" or "vibe code", or even steal from StackOverflow. I LOOK AT THE DOCUMENTATION, and if I can't figure it out, I GIVE UP and SCRAP THE IDEA

I didn't agree with a lot of what Starmer and his government did, but I don't see how a leadership change will improve things for the issues I care about. While I understand the party was looking doomed electorally and got a small boost from the challenge, I just can't see this panning out well.

I do not "play tutorials". I do not "read in-game hints or text", and I don't "look up guides for help". I play the game off pure intuition, and if I ever get stuck or confused for just one second, I immediately REFUND and REVIEW BOMB

I liked one illustration of Midna from Twilight Princess because it was cool & well-drawn, + I thought maybe my 'For You' feed would then give more Zelda or gaming or cool illustrations. It is now almost exclusively borderline pornography of various anime girls. I unliked it; feed still unusable.

After all these years, Nintendo finally hired this man... I'm so glad the job market is recovering, good for this man. May he use Unreal Engine in any way he can

I regret going to the Rijksmuseum. Years later, every museum and gallery in my home country feels really small. I just see everything and go "that's it?"

I assume everyone who talks about politics on the Internet is either a 12 year-old or a bot Guy who promotes anti-immigrant propaganda? 12 Guy promoting domestic political violence? Bot Guy confident on economics without ever taking a class? 12 Personal account of the Prime Minister? Also 12

Balance doesn't need to be a concern for your singleplayer game Balance doesn't need to be a concern for your asymmetrical multiplayer game Balance doesn't need to be a concern for your standard multiplayer game Your items in an RPG need not beholden to competitive eSports standards I promise

Deleted my Twitter for good a couple of days ago. Never really liked it, but man it went downhill. This is now my only social media page.

Might start actually using this app... never really posted much on Twitter. Always felt like A) the site was just angry and B) my posts would just inconvenience people. Might actually begin to share things I'm working on. Art, concepts, coding mistakes, music... ...maybe. I am shy.

Whoa! It's my first every 'Bluesky' post! How awesome! How radical! I've basically just made this account to reserve the handle in case I ever want to use it in the future (you never know). If you immediately know what TF2, FE, FF, AA, DGR, RDR and TLoZ all stand for then we'll get along fine.
