This here is Betelgeuse! He's a California king snake and not the biggest fan of humans, but if you're warm, he'll tolerate you. Fun fact, California king snakes are a breed of Colubrid, meaning they are rear fang venomous. They are harmless to humans, though, so he's safe to handle.

Pet of the day until I go through all the ones I have! Day 1, we have Carl! Carl is a 15 year old butters morph ball python and an absolute sweetheart. He likes warm spots and will curl on your neck just to hang out. Fun fact, ball pythons can live to be 30+ years old!
