I like beeing followed by bots as much as anyone else here, but i fear the quality has gone down hill.

From a great hobby that anyone can enjoy, this is starting to change in a hobby that only the reach can enjoy. When I'll be 50, I'll tell people that I'm going to spend a weekend gaming and they'll look at me the same way I look at people who golf in a different country.

Just watched Star Wars The Empire Strikes Back with my kid. Her face when she found out that Vader was Luke's father was priceless. She kept asking me if he's trying to outwit Luke.

This sounds amazing. You if you listen to the version on the first album you can really tell how far they've come.

There's a reason why I stopped posting pictures a while ago, hell I kind of stoped taking pictures all together. After 10 years in IT I realized that I no longer want to work in the field due to its direction, so I went back to school. I'm studying to get an electrical engineering degree. >>

So I received a security camera from my mum. Nothing to fancy, but it's usable at my house untill I'm able too afford something better. I inspected it and I saw it has an SD card slot. I thought about getting one for it, but let me tell you, I couldn't find one available. 1/?

I started playing Titanfall 2 lately, I'm going though the campaign and, as I do with all games, I monitor my performance to see how well it runs on my machine. It's running at about 100+ fps, I was expecting at least a 200, I have a decent machine. 1/2

Started playing Disco Elysium. Why did I put it off for so long? The dialog options with the self and with the world around you is next level. Holly shit!

As an AMD fan this is why they lose a lot of market, Nvidia's software is impressive and this is proof. They have the hardware, they just need software that keeps up with the competition.

Wtf is this shit? Probably the worst example of DLSS 5. If you look on Nvidia's site you can see how some characters look younger and different but this just makes her look like I just asked AI to generate a pic of how my mum would look like when she's 120.

I think these youtube channels are reviewing CPU's wrong. It's not about FPS, it's about how fast it can compile shaders so you can get back to your game or how it can handle shader compilation stutters.

I've been playing some Clair Obscur Expédition 33 and I reached a room where I got the third character. I was playing around with the settings for some reason and I noticed that DLSS removes some particle effects. These are present with TSR.

I have a bit of a dark side to my humor and this shot is a perfect example. The sign on the building translates to: "funeral services".

A street photo. Three old people sit on a bench in front of a building. On the building is a sign that translates to "funeral services". The picture is taken form the side of the bench.

If you're doing a fresh windows 11 install, do yourself a favor and bypass the Microsoft account requriement. I broke my sistem recently while OC-ing my GPU and I needed to fix it from safe mode. Apparently, safemode doesn't let you log in using your pin. Fortunately I had a seperate admin created.

Picture of a woman in a dress, captured from the right side as she grabs a branch of a tree to smell a flower.

When I shoot street photography, sometimes I take inspiration from east-european cinema. It uses basic composition but it transmits a certain feeling. I tried to recteate that in these shots. If you think they could screens from a movie, then I did my job.
