Fun fact: some of the voice actors from Arthur also appeared in Are You Afraid of the Dark?, and I was feeling nostalgic again so I drew Arthur and friends as their AYAOTD counterparts. #arthur #pbskids #areyouafraidofthedark #ayaotd #90snostalgia #drawing

I was still in an Oz mood, so I finally got around to drawing my Wizard of Oz AU for GF (I nicknamed it Emerald Falls). I’ve had this idea for a long time, after realizing that Stan fits incredibly well as the morally grey character of the Wizard himself. #gravityfalls #wizardofoz #ozian

- Stan as the Wizard of Oz
- Ford as the lost Prince Ozma, based on Princess Ozma (Ford’s journals also take the place of the Silver Shoes / Ruby Slippers)
- Dipper as a combination of Dorothy Gale and Ojo the Unlucky
- Mabel as Scraps the Patchwork Girl
- Fiddleford as a combination of the Scarecrow and Jack Pumpkinhead
- Soos as Nick Chopper, the Tin Woodman
- Wendy as the Lion (not so much cowardly in this version, but rather secretly stressed out like in canon)
- Waddles as Toto

- Axolotl as Lurline the Fairy Queen
- Melody as the Good Witch of the North
- Jheselbraum as Glinda the Good Witch of the South (in the original Oz books, Glinda has a magic Book of Records that instantly records everything that happens in the world)

- Pacifica as Princess Langwidere
- Gideon as the Wicked Warlock of the West
- Gnomes as the winged monkeys
- Bill as the Gnome King, which I changed to the Troll King in this AU to avoid confusion with the monkey gnomes
- Bill’s henchmaniacs as Whimsies, Growleywogs, and Phanfasms. It’s not entirely clear in my drawing, but in this AU they would appear to be made of rock, gems, and lava. I imagine they would move like how the gnomes were depicted in Disney’s Return to Oz in creepy claymation.

I really wanted to celebrate the 40th anniversary of my favorite Oz movie; Disney’s Return to Oz (premiered June 21, 1985). I included Master Wix, from the cancelled book series Abadazad; and Finley and China Girl from Oz the Great and Powerful. 🌈🌪️👠 #returntooz #ozian #wizardofoz #disney

Dorothy Gale, Billina the Hen, Jack Pumpkinhead, Tik-Tok the Mechanical Man, the Gump, Princess Ozma, Scarecrow, Tin Woodman, and the Cowardly Lion, from Disney's Return to Oz. Master Wix, the enchanted candle boy, from the cancelled book series Abadazad (purchased by Disney from CrossGen). Finley the flying monkey and China Girl, from Disney's Oz the Great and Powerful.

Yesterday was the 13th Anniversary of Gravity Falls! For a little throwback, here's some fan art I made back in 2022 of the AU fanfic "Some Sunny Day" by anistarrose. For context, this fanfic is based on the Same Coin Theory. 👁️🎱 #gravityfalls #billcipher #stanleypines

Art based on a scene from Chapter 10: Happy to Know.

Stan's connection to Bill is revealed.
“Face it, Sixer — you never had a twin.”
Ford reacts in shock.

Art based on a scene from Chapter 11: Trust.

A fist-shaped hole punched straight through Stan’s chest, edges of the cavity burning blue as cracks spread out all across his torso. They crept slowly and steadily further like slow-motion lightning bolts, snaking up his neck and down his arms, branching out and criss-crossing each other until it looked like a stiff breeze could break Stan apart, could easily shatter him into a thousand fragments that would be lost forever to the wind in a matter of seconds. (Written by anistarrose.)

Art based on a scene from Chapter 12: The Ancient Power.

Stan confronts his past self of Bill, while his family supports him.
"You want to know why time is so meaningless? It’s ‘cause I grew up more in sixty-two years than you did in a trillion.”

Here’s a little something eclectic: some obscure and less popular Disney characters. How many can you recognize? #ObscureDisney

Horace Horsecollar, specifically his incarnation from the never-made TV series Maximum Horsepower.

Gopher, from Winnie the Pooh.

Stinky Pete (The Prospector) from Toy Story 2.

Gurgi, from The Black Cauldron.

Buzzy, from the former EPCOT attraction Cranium Command.

Terry and Keiko (the video chat friends) from the 1994 Jeremy Irons iteration of Spaceship Earth in EPCOT.

A redrawn version of the poster for the nighttime show Believe! Sea of Dreams, from Tokyo DisneySea. Peter Pan and Wendy have been swapped out for my design of human Star, and Asha, from Wish. Tinker Bell has also been included to keep some Neverland representation. The other characters have been rearranged to give Star and Asha more prominence.

Forgot to post his here to celebrate Lumpy’s birthday (April 1), and Flippy and Fliq’s half-birthday (April 2: six months from Oct 2, the air date of “Party Animal”). 🎂💚💙💚🍰 #happytreefriends #htf #flippy #lumpy #fliqpy #flippyxlumpyxfliqpy

I headcanon Lumpy’s birthday to fall on April Fool’s Day, which was rather unfortunate for him growing up. My friend Nit and I had discussed the idea that even though Cuddles and friends helped Lumpy feel better about his birthday, he only accepts gifts and well wishes from his close friends, but is hesitant to accept any from strangers, and is still reluctant to initiate any celebration for himself. Lumpy only finally feels at ease after growing close with Flippy, and then realizing each other’s birthday is next to the other’s half-birthday. Here they’re having a quiet little slumber party to themselves, with hot chocolate.

Nutty is seated at a table with a cake of his face in the classic HTF style. He is tied up by a large sour strip, and surrounded by living sweets and object heads that appear menacing. Mr. Jell-O is stretching Nutty's mouth into a forced smile while Mr. Bubblegum is holding up a camera; Nutty is sweating and afraid.

Some time ago I watched Pushing Daisies, and thought it would be neat to make a Private Detective AU of my OTP. (It’s also an excuse to draw Lumpy in fun disguises.) 👣🔍 #happytreefriends #htf #flippy #lumpy #fliqpy #flippyxlumpyxfliqpy

1st page of sketches:

One sketch shows Flippy wearing a trench coat and fedora; the classic detective look.

Another sketch shows Lumpy as his assistant; he is wearing a bow tie and suspenders, and is doodling on a notepad (instead of taking notes).

The last sketch shows them with Sniffles, who is a coroner in this AU. All three are standing over a table with a corpse that has had its face removed, exposing its teeth and muscles. Lumpy is holding a cap to his chest and has a somber expression (he always pays his respects to the dead), while Flippy and Sniffles appear displeased by the state of the body.

2nd page of sketches:

One sketch shows Flippy and Lumpy dressed as a priest and a nun, respectively. They are nervously leaning against a wall, while an unseen voice asks "Who's there?!" from around the corner. They put on disguises to sneak into a church.

Another sketch shows Fliq and Lumpy tied up back-to-back with rope. Lumpy looks behind him at Fliq and is shaking and crying. Fliq is looking downward with grim determination and says "I promise you, Lumps, I'm gonna get us both out of here."

The last sketch shows Lumpy sitting at a table examining a file labeled "CONFIDENTIAL" while Flippy is standing behind him and leaning over his shoulder to look.

Comic page: A stranger dressed in a tuxedo is pointing a gun at Lumpy, who is wearing a sleeveless ball gown with long gloves, earrings, and a large wig decorated with flowers.

In the first panel, the stranger angrily asks, "Okay, Toots. What have you got up your sleeve?".

In the second panel, Lumpy giggles and responds, "I'm not wearing any sleeves, Silly!".

In the third panel, Lumpy is poking his cheek and appears mischievously cute as he says, "But I DO have a best friend up my skirts!".

In the fourth panel, the stranger can only respond with a confused "HUH?".

In the final panel, Lumpy is cheerfully holding up his skirts to reveal Fliq who has his own gun, and shoots the gun out of the stranger's hand, who cries out in pain.

Sometimes I like to daydream about my ideal Disneyland, which would feature a Mysteryland that includes a Gravity Falls area, an attraction based on Great Mouse Detective, and a 1920s murder mystery version of Haunted Mansion. 🔎👻 #disneyparks #gravityfalls #greatmousedetective #hauntedmansion

A mock-up poster with an art deco border, advertising Mysteryland in the fictional Disney Dreamland Resort; the tagline reads "Take a ride on the weird side". Dipper and Mabel are center-front, with Basil and Dawson standing atop their heads. Dipper is peering nervously over his shoulder and Dawson is surprised by the ghosts behind them, while Mabel and Basil seem unaware and are focused on Journal 3 in front of them. The ghosts include a flapper woman holding a knife behind her back, a decapitated butler holding up a platter carrying his severed head, a young girl with glowing eyes holding a headless doll, and a trio of jazz musicians.

Ariel is wearing a Mabel-style sweater, with light-up stars and letters spelling her name; Mabel is dressed as Ariel's mermaid form; Waddles is dressed as Flounder. Sebastian is behind them on a shelf, and is spooked by a jar of eyeballs staring at him. Dipper and Basil (from Great Mouse Detective) are dressed as each other. Grunkle Stan and Darkwing Duck (Drake Mallard) are dressed as each other.
