Ok if I must. Bc your home is a private place so you should know who is around and uses the bathroom Bc only one person at the time uses the bathroom (I assume) Bc bathroom in homes normally are not marked M or F Hence comparing it to public places is stupidity

Since phallic drift on BlueSky dictates that we should only focus on the feelings of men when it comes to the EHRC guidance, let's remind people why women advocated for this. Here is one: Lesbians are once again allowed to have events without including men.

There are two biological sexes. That is not contested science. Single sex spaces exist because women are subject to male violence. Suggesting there are almost no examples of harm is not just wrong. It is insulting. Exhausting to keep relitigating arguments feminism settled decades ago.

I haven't heard one media outlet mention that Grangemouth refined jet fuel. It's pretty clear that, nothing goods to come out of Scotland. Even yesterday's announcement by Westminster, that they were consulting with the supermarkets to freeze prices on essential foods. Who else thought about it 🤔

Sky News just did an extended piece on the UK being the world's largest importer of jet fuel, with zero production capacity. They managed not to mention the closure 2 years ago of the Grangemouth oil refinery which produced jet fuel.

Oh I see what you mean. I think we are talking cross purposes here. Yes I have no problem in accepting that a person can choose their gender. Is changing sex I don’t think one can.

Sorry I missed this. How can a woman, who is infertile, give birth to children? You mean she has children via IVF? She is obviously a woman. Why would she have XY chromosomes? Have you evidence of this or are you just hypothesising?

nonna48.bsky.social @nonna48.bsky.social · 15/05/2026
On the contrary. I am very clear about what is sex and what is gender. I know my mother was female and my father male. Do you?

And yes, I agree transpeople can choose how to identify but cannot change their sex. And that’s fine. So a transman can identify as a man, but doesn’t become a man

All good. But I was asking about sex. If, for example, your doctor asks you what sex you are. Bc for some meds dosage changes if you are male or female. So would you know what to answer? So you still haven’t answered me. Do you know what sex you, your mother, your father are?

nonna48.bsky.social @nonna48.bsky.social · 14/05/2026
I was actually asking if you could please explain as if I was a child. Who, for example, is filling a form with a box asking to tick sex M or F. Not how you identify(different story) but what sex. How does the child know which sex s/he is?
100
nonna48.bsky.social @nonna48.bsky.social · 14/05/2026
No I don’t. Explain to me as if I were a 10 year old who asks “what sex am I”. Go on, I am waiting. (Unless you decide to block me, as it happens frequently by people who don’t like a polite conversation bc they don’t know how to respond without insults).

nonna48.bsky.social @nonna48.bsky.social · 13/05/2026
Exactly that. You can change your gender. You cannot change your sex. Maybe you don’t understand the difference ?

And I hope they don’t go into coalition with anyone. This created so many problems and resolved very little last time. And it will give an indication of where other parties really stand. Will Labour vote with reform just in order of disagreeing with the SNP?
