I am a strong believer in not making shit up to win an argument. This entire story about Constantine is made up. Here, educate yourself.

is fine you will end up with soil that can blow away if its dry and windy and that is what happened in the Dust Bowl. Today more and more zero till using seed drills to seed. However, that approach often increases pesticide use.
A tractor is shown with a farmer driving it. The tractor is pulling four steel discs the size of a dinner platter. The tractor is sitting on soil that has just been disced and is in clumps.

Belief is not the opposite of knowledge not even close. Think of it like this
A Venn showing how belief, justification and truth intersect in knowledge. This is the classic epistemological take on how the four interact.

faced racism and misogyny on top of all this. I can go on and on talking about political cleavages, genocide etc but I want to end with some data. Look at the data for 2024 and ask yourself, wasn’t this likely to be a very close race.
A simple table from a very long running study by Gallup News that shows that in 2024 28% of Americans said they were Democrats, 28% said they were Republicans and 43% said they were Independents.

As of April, 2025 (and there is good reason to believe Trump has lost Christian support since then) a slight majority of Christians disapproved of Trump.
A chart from Pew Research shows that in early April of 2025 showed 59% of Americans disapproved of the way Trump was handling his job as President. 51% of Christians disapproved. However, only 28% of white evangelicals disapproved while 72% approved.

I think it is obvious from the data we are asking the wrong question. It isn’t people that didn’t vote that cost us the election in 2024. According to Pew Research more of the non voters would have voted Trump than Harris if they had voted.
44% of non voters would have voted Trump. Only 40% would have voted Harris according to this Pew Research chart.

I can tell you who didn’t vote. They were more likely to be poor, had less educational attainment, were more likely to be non-white, and far more likely to be under 50 (60% to 44%) than voters. Worse the majority would have voted Trump, 44%-40%.

Okay let’s try the graphics again. The graph is of the relationship between family income and life expectancy. The map shows with dark red the worst, that if you are poor where you live has a significant impact on your live expectancy.

Of course it is not quite this simple. The first graph shows the relationship between family income and life expectancy in America. The map shows that where the poor live in America matters greatly to life expectancy.

I encourage everyone who cares about the issue of homelessness in America to read the article from NPR and then the fact sheet from the United Way. But always remember homelessness reflects America back at itself. unitedwaynca.org/blog/vacant-...

As a farmer and rancher I want to post two charts for all the non farmers. The first shows how the vast majority of farms (86+%) are small. The second shows farm median household income for different sized farms and shows how little income small farmers make from farm operations.
The graph is self explanatory

Do you really think these 1,600,000 farmers are rich, the 86.1%? The ones with Gross Cash Farm Incomes of less than $350,000. Notice how almost none of their family income comes from farming.

As a “rich” farmer I voted against my self interest, voting the Democratic ticket 100%. I do want to point out however, you and the New Republic are wrong. 86.1% of farmers have less than $350,000 in gross income. The USDA says their income from farming is less than $35,000. #1.
Chart showing that 86.1% of farmers makes less than $350,000 in gross income. With a margin of less than 10% these farmers have less than $35,000 a year of farm income rich the are not.

Every year we plant more perennial plants that are native to here in East Central Alberta. In the foreground are Golden Sedges (Carex aurea). Ironically, they are probably native where you live as well since they grow throughout most of North America.
A picture of plants in small containers waiting to be planted. These are clumps of thin golden brown hairs. They look dead. However, they will turn green soon and produce small golden fruit that are eatable and tasty. They are called Golden Sedges and grow all over North America.

My backyard. We work hard at being bee friendly. That includes dandelions, bee houses (that is a doghouse in case there is any doubt), and native plants that flower from early spring to late fall.

You misunderstand me. I strongly support taxing churches. The meme was inaccurate, even misleading. I was additionally pointing out that few churches would oppose taxation because it wouldn’t matter to them. What is a medium sized church?
Graphic showing 59% of churches have less than 100 worshippers.
