Part of the dining room aquarium is visible in the background, but it could otherwise be the view from the back door of any number of restaurants.

The bridge actually sits empty while I pilot the ship from a cockpit hidden in the ship's frame. I have to fly with the camera in third-person view, otherwise my player character is looking at a bulkhead. Zero regrets, would--and did--build again. #spaischips #nomanssky #startrek

Picked up an old Chromebook and installed writerdeckOS on it and it took some fiddling but fiddle I did and it works!

There are so many absolutely garbage thinkpieces on here about how to retain workers by basically just, you know, being a regular decent human being in the office, but that's not why most of us are quitting your lousy company; it's because you don't pay us for the value of our labor, and I know you don't because that's where a lot of your profits come from.

I don't care if you finally learned how to smile at people you don't respect, or that you asked me how I'm doing once with an expression that clearly dreaded an honest response. I care that I have to keep coming to work even if I have to borrow the gas money for my unpaid commute to the office I didn't need to be at to do my job you underpay me for. THAT'S why you lose workers.

An excerpt from the Wikipedia entry for A Stitch in Time:

"A Stitch in Time is a Star Trek: Deep Space Nine novel written by Andrew Robinson. The novel originated from a biography of Cardassian Elim Garak in the form of a diary which was written by Robinson after he landed the recurring role in the series. He would read extracts from it at Star Trek conventions for fans, and was heard by novelist David R. George III, who suggested he should submit it for publishing. Although it was announced that a sequel would be published in 2001, co-written by fellow actor Alexander Siddig, the only follow-up to the novel was Robinson's short story The Calling which was published as part of the Prophecy and Change anthology in 2003."

I wanted to take a break from talking about how awful everything is to show some love and appreciation for the greatest character in all of Star Trek.

It's the person who runs the Klingon restaurant on Deep Space Nine, a heavyset Klingon man who in this image is playing some kind of Klingon concertina. I am completely serious when I say he is the best character in all of Star Trek, and I will fight to the death for his right to sell us racht and sing to us while we eat.
