I figure people follow for art & game update so I try not to spam my Youtube, but for new followers I do try to stream work on South Scrimshaw at least once a week. I'll be live most of tomorrow afternoon if you want to stop by.

Brillo eyespot WIP. What I thought would be a simple shot ended up being much more complex 😅 Thanks again to the folks hanging out in stream for the process!

Sneaky mice have replaced the inside of this car stereo with a jazz cafe. (The radio now only plays jazz.)

Happy Halloween 🎃 (I didn’t draw anything, just hanging with my bros and giving out candy.)

I dropped some gouache and fill color in today. The cowboy hat didn't really fit in after all, very sorry.

It is some of my favorite concept/promo art from anything. The heavy texturing and etherial lighting is so perfectly in between fantasy and science fiction.

This octopus was greatly improved by chat suggestion that I make him a cowboy.

But to recommend something besides the most well known VNs, I recently reviewed an underrated game from last year. The Chrono Jotter is really cool and I think their upcoming VN, Raining City, could be huge for the devs. fuwanovel.moe/2024/10/revi...

A surprised mouse on an oil can. (The oil can is his home. He didn't think you were using it.)

I was really impressed by the The Chrono Jotter by the time I finished it. I couldn’t find that many people talking about it online so I went and just wrote a review myself. Many thanks to Fuwanovel for lending me their platform! fuwanovel.moe/2024/10/revi...

Cross posting this progress update here- Quick rundown is that things are still going well but I got more ambitious with the art and it has created more that needs to be done. Pic rel
