Ya know what? Here’s a post. Some art I commissioned from @foxyffox.bsky.social Based off this well known STALKER image!

A pic a of an NES game I picked up Classic series Legend of Zelda complete in box! Minus the styrofoam spacer. The table in the picture is from the restaurant I took the picture in.

I’m a donation attendant for Goodwill and someone donated this today:

Retro game shops and thrift stores looking lustfully at the worst places to put their price stickers on the game cartridges/ boxes:

Been a minute since I posted. I present to you all a computer I’ve acquired that’s been nicknamed the crack head computer. In the process of cleaning it before I get into the internals.

Oh yeah, we’re gamin’. Time to clean these up. I emulate my retro games despite having all the consoles because it’s easier than dealing with the physical consoles. Plus it gives the old consoles a break. But I do want to keep a core physical collection of the big name games and the odd balls.

Me: “I’ve worked on old vcr’s and game consoles, but fixing the audio on this crt shouldn’t be too big a leap so long as I don’t need to get into the actual guts of the thing.” Removes shell off CRT: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

I finally played Duck Hunt. After all these years. You can hear the sorta happy noise I make right at the end.

Got gifted this avatar! My current is a kit bash built off this that was itself a gift from a friend, but now I have a fresh start. I’ll be converting some assets and textures over to this model where applicable, but I am excited to see where this goes.

Toaster selfie. It’s a bit older, but it’s a good one.

Now that update seems to have fixed my issue with images on posts not loading, here’s my reaction every time I open this app now and see the posts:

Somewhere around here, Dave. How about you?

The legend himself. Gonna get a mod that disables the headlamp model without turning off the light.

Just a meme today. Also fyi, this account is 18+, so be advised. To make a short explanation, it’s gonna be as you’ve seen so far, you might just see the occasional “lmao, boobs” post or other such type. Overall though it’s just gonna be game stuff and what you’ve already seen here.

Also here’s a nice photo a friend took on vrc two days ago. It makes me smile whenever I look at it.

Update: I fixed it! ^^ I have absolutely no idea what caused it, but it happened the same time the health ui half broke after entering the Cordon. I have a theory. The health ui can be fixed by reloading a save, but maybe this mod can’t. So I just had to reload a save where it was working.

Context, this is what the gesture mod allows:

I’m gonna do a post either later today or tomorrow showing off my Retro Gaming collection. I don’t just play modern games, I have a soft spot for the older games and consoles and all of their quirks. I even have some with their packaging still. For now, here’s my copy of Mario RPG.

Got a new headset. This is a nuclear level upgrade for me considering my previous and also first headset was a Quest 1.

Incase anyone wanted to see the very first iteration of my character, here you are. The very first Nomad design.

I also maintain a small retro game collection!

One more thing before bed. I got myself a physical copy of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Call of Pripyat. It’s the collector’s edition and was in near perfect condition! Only missing one sticker!

Found an old vrc picture. I plan on doing more with this account at some point. Might actually start putting stream highlights here.
