In today’s @irishexaminer written by Alison O’Reilly highlighting the injustices of the #redress scheme that has excluded so many & the recent proposal of #PhilomenasLaw in the UK. My mother was Pregnant in Ireland (PFI) but objects to having to sign a waiver for the redress.

Well, we all knew that free HRT was an election promise to get ‘deh wimin’ votes. Jennifer Carol MacNeill’s stuttering responses to questions last night reinforced that it ain’t ever going to happen. Be very careful about pissing off menopausal women, myself included.

I received via FOI the redress scheme’s Standard Operating Procedure for record searches. 🚨There are multiple redactions. So not only do countless civil servants have a level of access to records about us that we can only dream of, we’re not even afforded transparency re how they find them!
