Going from Cai to Dietrich is so funny tonally. I don’t think the writing is particularly good, but I love the audacity. Dietrich and Fabio being the Fodlan representation is such an inspired choice.

I did start Dietrich’s path up to being able to return to the Obelisk chamber and then started Cai’s part 2 and damn, Dagda’s a real piece of work. Also the early fight with Anatolia on Dietrich’s path was tough on hard. I only got through it by the grace of some 2% crits.

The suggestion that wanting to see consequences for rapists and abusers is puritanical or (derogatorily) Christian-coded is so darkly funny, because Christian institutions are our greatest purveyors of rape culture. They are the blueprint for shaming victims, coercing forgiveness and protecting men.

how healed are survivors supposed to be before they’re allowed to speak about their experience. when we talk about a Youthful Indiscretion (that probably the victim never thinks about anymore and is totally healed!) it sure seems relevant when survivors stand up and say this shit still impacts them
