My one grandfather hired a man to get my grandmother drunk, seduce her, then broke down the door to take picture so he could get divorced. My other grandfather overdosed on alcohol and barbiturates. He and my grandmother were sleeping in separate bedrooms. Divorce needs to remain no fault.

We are in a new period of Reconstruction. But we have something they did not.: the ability to communicate (and organize) via social media, texting, etc. We need to get people registered and voting, especially in state-wide elections (governor, US Senate, amendments, judges).

We need a Constitutional voting rights amendment that bans gerrymandering of any kind. THIS is the problem. States like TN, LA are not “red” states, they are gerrymandered. LA is a 1/3-R, 1/3-D, 1/3-I state, but we have a R supermajority in the state gov’t, allowing the federal gerrymandering.
