HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my fellow Matt, my PAX partner, my co op gaming bestie, and overall great person

NOLAnerdcast aka Your Bestie @nolanerdcast.bsky.social · 20h

Right? PS2 era had us eating so good. If you liked a game, chances are you never had to wait more than 1-2 years for a sequel

NOLAnerdcast aka Your Bestie @nolanerdcast.bsky.social · 20h

In a just world we’d have at least three Astro Bot sequels this generation.

NOLAnerdcast aka Your Bestie @nolanerdcast.bsky.social · 11/10/2026

Big same

NOLAnerdcast aka Your Bestie @nolanerdcast.bsky.social · 11/10/2026

NOLAnerdcast aka Your Bestie @nolanerdcast.bsky.social · 11/10/2026

I always knew you had impeccable taste

NOLAnerdcast aka Your Bestie @nolanerdcast.bsky.social · 11/10/2026

Lost Odyssey was so good it’s a shame that so few people seem to have played it. I’d love it to become a full on series.

Pro strat for real

You did an amazing job, Jess!

NOLAnerdcast aka Your Bestie @nolanerdcast.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

Glad you’re having such a fantastic time! I think it’d be so cool to go to PAX AUS one year.

NOLAnerdcast aka Your Bestie @nolanerdcast.bsky.social · 09/10/2026

Hellll yeah look at you!

NOLAnerdcast aka Your Bestie @nolanerdcast.bsky.social · 09/10/2026

Hell yeah congrats to you and the whole team

NOLAnerdcast aka Your Bestie @nolanerdcast.bsky.social · 09/10/2026

Based on what I saw at SGF... I think you're cooked. Goodbye free time lol

NOLAnerdcast aka Your Bestie @nolanerdcast.bsky.social · 09/10/2026

I spent time as a kid with a microphone and a tape recorder recording all of the songs so I could listen to them in the car. This movie practically lived in our VCR

NOLAnerdcast aka Your Bestie @nolanerdcast.bsky.social · 09/10/2026

It's here! What a powerful read, Reb. Great job as per your usual.

NOLAnerdcast aka Your Bestie @nolanerdcast.bsky.social · 09/10/2026

OOo let me know if it's any different than the SGF demo

I am so happy you’re also enjoying it

Rain and Lasswell will fix everything in just two weeks. Final Fantasy Resonance is coming to remind us all why Final Fantasy is so special.

NOLAnerdcast aka Your Bestie @nolanerdcast.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

Control Resonant! Turns out, it's pretty great! I got to review it for Temple of Geek, something that is still pretty cool to say.

NOLAnerdcast aka Your Bestie @nolanerdcast.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

Hayes it's a really fun ride and experience, you're gonna love it

NOLAnerdcast aka Your Bestie @nolanerdcast.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

It’s one of those SNL based movies that transcends the source material and is just fun on its own merits

Dragon Quest XI S is one of the finest RPGs of the modern era, and one of the best Dragon Quest games in general. So how does the Switch 2 version stack up, and is it worth a purchase despite lacking an Upgrade option or Save Data transfers? My review: youtu.be/7jrNFcImJNE

I can’t explain it but this is what Gadget from Rescue Rangers would look like as a human

NOLAnerdcast aka Your Bestie @nolanerdcast.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

I snagged several but for obvious reasons this one’s my favorite

Don't let Bluesky's garbage gif usability distract you from the fact that VI is superior to VII

NOLAnerdcast aka Your Bestie @nolanerdcast.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

The Sluggo Hat arc has been incredible

Decided to represent the best game at work today.

NOLAnerdcast aka Your Bestie @nolanerdcast.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

Can second almost all of these. Excellent taste on display

NOLAnerdcast aka Your Bestie @nolanerdcast.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

It hurt my very soul, but also was no longer surprising given the Saints of the last decade

My backlog is a staggering juggernaut of amazing games that deserve my time and it’s a crime that I can’t give them my attention all at once.

NOLAnerdcast aka Your Bestie @nolanerdcast.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

Because you have functional taste buds

NOLAnerdcast aka Your Bestie @nolanerdcast.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

I know right? How can you make something so good and then this?
