I came across an outdated guide on image grid sizing crop/proportions for bsky earlier, and I felt it was important to create an updated version! Please use this new guide instead!

Up-to-date BlueSky Crop Aspect Ratio
Crop Sizes for Bluesky as of 18 Oct 2024

By default, single images are uncropped. If image is too tall (Exceeds the 1:2 aspect ratio) then it will be cropped. Single images that are too tall may be scaled down but aspect ratio is preserved

With two images, both of them share a square aspect ratio of 1:1

For three images, the first image is square (1:1) while the other two are half-squares (2:1)

And for 4 images, all of them are 3:2

Another tip for newbies: You can bookmark a post by commenting on it with a 📌. Once you've done that, it will appear in your "my pins" feed (link below). These are only visible to you. (Also I mute the emoji so I don't have to see it every time someone pins something!) bsky.app/profile/did:...

I feel like I need to tap the sign cause I keep seeing people trying to "dunk" on hateful peeps on my feed. This ISN'T TWITTER. Please don't make it into it.

An info-board summarising the difference between Twitter/X and Bluesky and the potential advantages that come with the latter.

I'm excited to see so many vtubers making their way to #vsky now! I haven't been able to keep up with the notifications but I'll be checking them. Here's a few things to introduce you a bit to how things work here. Bluesky is a really nice chance to recreate your experience without the toxic stuff.

Image is a graphic welcoming new vtubers to Bluesky - it includes information about some of the features here & a little about the culture of the site as well.
