What changes is how much data the TV/player has to construct those lines. A more heavily compressed file is more likely to have artifacts and distortions. 000

It’s possible to compress a feature length 4K movie down around 10 GB, but uncompressed is more likely to be around 20 GB for a 1080p movie, or 50 GB+ for 4K.
