For a recent Secret Santa-like event, I was paired with @sychev.bsky.social and I put a -lot- of time into trying to make this look right... I couldn't possibly capture the softness of the character, so I tried the mood instead. #furryart #kemono

I was trying to design a thing and needed some kind of size reference. Then what meant to be a quick doodle ended up having more happening to it. But still - doodle. #doodle #oc #furryart #kemono

Noi standing upright, hands behind back, looking towards the viewer with confusion. The text "cat for scale" is scribbled above with an arrow pointing downward.

I'm months late in sharing this but- Coming back from my travels, I was entrusted with things to mail to others. And I figured this was my chance to send them something of my own too. (and maybe test myself with non-digital drawing or something) #kemono #furryart #oc #doodle

A 3x5 index card with a drawing on it. Noi pokes out from a corner with a beckoning look on his face, saying "oooh..! I wanna send Quad something too..."

A 3x5 index card with a drawing on it. Two cats standing side by side, Noi noticing their slight but still distinct height difference while friend enjoys the moment and strikes a pose.

A 3x5 index card with a drawing on it. Noi is implied to be passing through the air at some speed, arm outstretched and patting a friend who is making a cute pose while enjoying the attention.

I finally had an (arguably) valid reason to use a goto statement in my code. I think? If a very special case happens, rather than refactor everything, instead delete the case, reset some stuff, then jump back to just before an earlier if statement.

Do I want a hard or soft lining style? Should I do something other than ink entirely, go back to thick pencil stuff? Do I even have a style? I don't know a thing...

I haven't checked bsky in a month and scrolling through my feed, this tab is at over 5GB and consistently over 100% CPU (by Linux metrics). Not sure what's to blame here.

Screenshot from a Task Manager-esque program showing a Firefox process at 111% CPU usage and 5.49 GiB memory usage.

Been working on and off for a while on a character design with and for @dreamingcreator.bsky.social and this is the result. Small rat, big ears, bigger scythe, completely mentally stable (citation needed). I've never done a proper ref sheet before, so this was neat. #furryart #oc #kemono

Oh right, new domain name too... I think it's neat? Keep forgetting to continue migrating things over.

Seeing people here and there be so expressive and whimsical and really lean into their ideas, their fantasy, their characters... I-I don't know how to do that. I really wish I could do it. But what if it blows up on me so badly again that I...

Distracting myself from a bad mood by drawing a thing... for myself. A bit too personal to share, but - I think these expressions turned out surprisingly okay? #doodle #kemono #furryart #oc

Visited friends last month, left a not-so-stealthy doodle on their whiteboard (incl. a certain @dreamingcreator.bsky.social), didn't elaborate, left not too long afterwards #doodle #furryart

Been busy since coming back from my trip. Pretty much as soon as the plane touched down I was already drowning with stuff to do - things that largely were not my choices but became my responsibility. Where even did that whole week go? And what do I do now...?

Friend surprised me out of nowhere with such a meticulously crafted and detailed thing and I love it so much and I feel I must pay it back in some way, and this is the best I could do even if it doesn't feel like enough but so, and... Can't thank them enough >w< #furryart #oc #kemono

Lately been thinking back to how it was like 7 years ago that my days were spent being utterly terrified to show any hint of personality out in the open even if through a screen. Still happens. But... not as bad?

With all the coding I've gotten done, it's almost as if I wrote a whole library without actually writing a whole library... And this is *less* confusing than the alternative I had in mind.

Noi @noi.dev · 10/01/2026

Spent way, *way* too many hours figuring out why certain code wasn't running like it should when it turns out I accidentally made a copy when moving things around. And the copy was what the rest of the code was referencing. I don't know anymore

So here's the latter part of how my last few days have been going
