5. Your work will never truly "finish". There is always alternative/new/different angle; there are multiple ways to do stuff; there are always new data; there are always people bringing and suggesting fresh ideas. So? Embrace them but choose a way and stick to it.

4. PhD with family is my wish, and I am lucky to have them here with me. With them, I remember (and at times force myself) to relax and take a break.

3. I am super lucky to be part of a lively, super smart, productive, and supportive research team. Without them, this would be a lonely journey. I learn a lot from them. Good thing is I will still learn from them for years to come.

2. If I can go back and talk to my young self, I want to say, "this is a 4-year window for learning without interruptions. Embrace all the things you come across. Embrace the failure and setbacks. Learn and re-learn everytime. Now, it is slow and exhausting at times. So, be kind to yourself."

1. My mum used to told me to give my best at everything I do, even if it looks impossible. She was the first to believe in- and support my dreams. Now, anything can set you back multiple steps. But I remember her with every setback I got. Her words fuel me, one step forward at a time.

Since I'm nearing the completion of my 3rd year of PhD study, I want to reflect and share a thing or two I've learned so far.

🙋‍♀️What makes our careers, our institutions, our economy possible? This #8M, ICTA-UAB draws attention to what is almost never seen: unpaid care work. The work that sustains the capacities that make the economy possible, generating wellbeing & development. The work that makes everything else possible

Unlike how Britain's Tony Blair was with Bush, in saying 'no' to war with Iran, Spain's PM Pedro Sanchez is letting the world know he will not be the cuck of America's pedophile psychopath.

"deep-sea miners claim zero-waste mining is possible" well it is only possible if you have very specific definitions of what waste from mining is (& also make assumptions what you are comparing) - basically it is not true in reality triplepundit.com/2025/deep-se...

I agree. And this is why interventions like REDD+ were only resulted in modest impact at best since it's not directly (and unable to) addressing wealth-related d&d drivers. The money from REDD+ is tiny compared to nickel mining money.....
