This was a tiny little turtle on the edge of a path. I really wanted to take it closer to the marsh but since we're in a national park, it's best to just observe! #nature #naturephotography #turtle #turtlepicture #animal #animalphtography

These two were in the same area! One was out foraging and swimming around and the other was taking a snooze! #muteswan #bird #birdpictures #animalphotos #nature #naturephotography

I took this in the beginning of the year. They were dried out but I still think they're pretty. #flowers #flower #nature #naturephotography #photography

These were taken at a local conservation area. It contains a marsh area but it also a large area for shorebirds to come and rest. I feel pretty lucky to be sandwiched between a national park and a separate conservation area. #photography #nature #naturepics #marsh #marshland #bird

I just discovered that #fungifriends is a tag so have this guy from last year. It looks kind of like a gourd to me! #nature #naturephotography #mushroom #fungus #fungi

I was looking through my folder and found this one. I like taking pictures of #pathways and how you can never see where they go until you get to end of it. #nature #naturephotography #naturephoto #photo #photography

To be among the leaves! I wanted to try something close to the ground with all the leaves and I think this was the best of the three I took. #photography #naturephotography #nature #autumn #autumnpicture #naturepic

A picture taken close to the ground, putting brown, red, and yellow leaves in the foreground. The picture is taken in a forest with trees in the background.

I thought all of my pictures of this #snake I took in the spring was horribly blur but this isn't as bad. I'm not a snake expert but I believe this snake was shedding or about to shed since its eye is blue. It's a good place to hide! #animalphotography #naturephotography #nature #photography

A picture of a tree with a cavity in the middle, where the head of a snake hiding inside can be seen. The snake's eye is a grey-blue, indicating that it's probably in shed of preparing to shed.

One more photo for today. There are two animals in this picture - a #turtle and a #snake. Can you spot the snake? If you need a hint, let the turtle help you out. #nature #photography #naturephotography #spotthesnake #picturechallenge

What I think is an American Coot hanging out with a pair of Mallards! #birds #nature #naturephotography #photography

I've seen some #mushroom pictures on my feed! If Blueksy really likes #mushrooms, I've got more to share and I love taking pictures of them! #photography #naturepic

A cluster of orange mushrooms together on a rotting stump, surrounded by leaves. The mushrooms are mostly very small but there are a couple of medium sized ones that form part of the cluster.

FROGS! We first saw the big one sitting in the pond but the more we looked, the more we saw! These were taken on Halloween. I don't know enough about frogs to see whether or not this a normal time for so many to be out and about! #nature #photography #frogs #frog #animal #animalpics

A toad! I took this one last year (I have a lot of backlog to upload to bluesky). I saw it out of the corner of my eye because he jumped and it stayed super still (probably hoping I didn't see it). #photography #naturepic #toad

A brown toad that is camouflaged im brown sticks.

I figured I would try to branch out here too. This is No Fuss, Just Nature, where I post all my nature pictures. I do this just has a hobby, so don't expect anything amazing. #intro #hobbyphotography #naturepics

Two barn swallows, sitting close to each other. They are turned away from the camera.

Two small, white flowers surrounded by long grass blades and leaves.

Two Canada Geese. One is in the water and hidden behind dry reeds or plants. The other one is closer to camera and standing up. Most of its body is visible.
