So, it might be worth it to check those flex hoses underneath your sink for obvious damage. The hose that failed had frayed metal braiding and bulging rubber where those metal fibers had frayed. 050

The hot water line burst underneath my kitchen sink, covering the front of my apartment in a mm of hot water. 3 hours later, new hose is in its place. Working on your own motor vehicles is good because everything else becomes easy by comparison. (Plus, you have tools for everything.) 070
Zachary Braun @nofna.bsky.social · 18/06/2026I got a temporary crown to cover a root canal that I had done back in March.This crown is really painful in a totally unexpected way.It's cemented in place with a blob of dental cement that has the texture of sandstone.It really abrades my tongue as I try to keep chewed food to one side of my mouth! 030

The orthodontist said to not chew on that side of my mouth, so I'm just having a vitamin shake for lunch. My gums are still swollen and bloody at times, giving a sensation like teething, when baby teeth fall out and adult teeth come in, something that I have not felt in, like, 35 years. 120

One of my teeth broke while it was being removed, and the extraction necessitated a stitch. The other tooth came out whole, but the dentist wouldn't let me keep either one for some reason. 120
