Tee Higgins leads the #NFL with 25 contested targets. 45% of his targets have been contested, the 2nd-highest rate for any player with 50+ targets since 2014 (trailing only Golden Tate’s 46% in 2019).

Jaxon Smith-Njigba has 1,041 receiving yards on just 226 routes this season, marking the fewest routes for a 1,000-yard season since 2014. The next closest? Nico Collins in 2024 with 350 routes.

In 2024, Tyreek Hill had 840 fewer yards than in 2023 despite running 76 more routes. It was the largest season-to-season drop in yards per route run (YPRR) by any player since 2014, dropping from 3.82 in 2023 to 1.75 in 2024 (-2.07 difference)

Wan’Dale Robinson recorded 93 receptions last season, ranking 10th in the NFL, on 132 targets. He ranked 44th in receiving yards. Dating back to 2014, he is the only WR to record at least 90 receptions in a single season and finish with under 800 receiving yards, finishing with 699 yards.

Puka Nacua finished the 2024 season with a 37.1% Target Rate on routes run. The gap between Nacua and 2nd place (Malik Nabers, 29.7%) was larger than the gap between 2nd and 28th place (Courtland Sutton, 22.5%). It was also the highest Target Rate in a single season since 2014 (min. 40 targets).

Dating back to 2014, Puka Nacua is the only player to run fewer than 300 routes in a season and finish with 900+ receiving yards. He’s one of two players to record 800+ yards on fewer than 300 routes, and one of three to reach 700+ yards. He finished just 10 yards shy of 1,000.

Marvin Mims led the NFL with 95% of his receiving yards coming after the catch. 2nd place was Khalil Shakir with 73.7%. That’s the 2nd-highest % of yards attributed to after the catch since 2014. Rondale Moore’s 2021 season ranks first, with 99% of his yards that year coming after the catch.

Among WRs with at least 70 targets, Green Bay Packers WR Dontayvion Wicks led the NFL with a 20.4% Drop Rate in 2024. Fellow teammate Jayden Reed ranked second with a 18.2% Drop Rate. Romeo Doubs was the 3rd Packers WR to rank Top 15 in Drop Rate with 10.9%
