The Resonance System is a risk-reward upgrading mechanic used with the Attunement Station to give unique special traits to tools and armour

- Traits are similar to enchantments, giving you unique mechanics or buffs to your tools.
- Resonance Bar (0%–100%): Tracks instability built up on an item.
- Lustre (Gold Ingots): Used to attune the tool. The higher the Lustre amount, the higher the chances of sucesss.
- adding Gold also increases the tool's Resonance when the attunement finishes (the lustre used converts into resonance)
- Temperance (Quartz): used to stabilize (temper) an item, reducing its built-in Resonance level
- Burden: Every Attune or Temper attempt adds +1 Burden to the item. An item can take up to 10 Burden total before reaching its limit, afterwhich it's locked in its state and cannot be upgraded
- Blight Risk: If the combined total of an item's current Resonance + added Lustre gets close to, hits or exceeds 100%, attempting an attunement runs a critical risk of destroying the item, turning it into Blighted Slag
- Amplifiers: These are items that infuse with your tool to give it the traits you chose. Emerald shards for example give Prosperity related traits. Each shard or item has a set of 3 traits it can provide

I think the world is a better place overall, but there are pockets of bad and sometimes severe regression that makes things look much worse. I think recognizing both is important as to not discredit good things but also acknowledge the bad things his statement holds some water imo!

to be entirely fair, so much changed for the better as well. Some things are much worse, like housing, but there's also so much improvement in so many others areas from health to minority rights (even if it seems otherwise) to generally the availability of services and acceptance of people 1/2

everything else works except for crocks placed on shelves or floors, idk why, sometimes it works, not always, vessels, chests, etc, all work. it's underground and within cellar boundaries so I'm not sure really

also yes I know crocks dont need to be in vessels but for some reason the game seems a bit buggy? like, some crocks say 1.6 years, but others say only 60 days, and the only way to update the ones that are buggy is by placing them in vessels so im not sure if im doing something wrong

personally I still prefer modded Minecraft just because I can choose to either chill or do stuff, whereas with VS it's a lot of work till you can get to the chill moments. Vanilla Minecraft is too vanilla lmao both have their places! and I'm enjoying VS so so much
