The rest of my labor day weekend I spent getting ready to bring the stream back - STARTING WITH A NO MAN'S SKY MARATHON! This Friday I'll be doing a 14 hour No Man's Sky marathon. No schedule nor agenda. It will be only vibes and hanging out. I'm SO excited, I've wanted to do this stream for years!

Can someone please tell me what is the point of Google, or really the Internet at all, at this point? Just laughably bad stuff - apparently Battlefield 6 is a nonexistent game. 😅 #battlefield

A screenshot of a Google search result and the AI Overview given after. The google search, "battlefield 6 menu scroll bug reddit" prompted an AI overview giving incorrect information. The AI Overview reads:

"There are no credible reports of a "Battlefield 6 menu scroll bug," as the game has not yet been officially released, and the name "Battlefield 6" was rumored for a game that is now known as Battlefield 2042. The game that was initially rumored as "Battlefield 6" has been officially announced and released as "Battlefield 2042" and there are no reports of a menu scroll bug. Therefore, any discussion of a menu scroll bug is likely a misunderstanding of a previous game in the series or is a rumor about a game that doesn't exist."

This is all factually untrue information.

This game is just so pretty. #NoMansSky #NoMansSkyWorldsPart2

A landscape photo of an early sunrise in No Man's Sky. A large lake in the foreground, reflecting the orange and dark blue colors of the sunrise, is flanked by three mountains on the west, north, and east. The northern most mountain appears pinkish orange as the sun rises behind it.

Random train thought this morning, does anyone else prefer the All Stars version of Super Mario Bros. 3? I just like the overall look so much better than the original. There's more fun with the colors and some slight design tweaks. Tbh the GBA version may even be the most superior.

In Super Mario Bros. 3 All Stars version, Mario stands upon a glimmering block platform as it rises and sinks. There is water below the platform and a giant fish swimmimg around in it, ocassionally jumping near Mario to eat him. Most notably the colors and design are way way cooler than the original SMB3 (my opinion presented as fact, because it is).

FIRST STREAM OF 2025 TONIGHT. Going to reroll 2-3 games giveaways from the marathon to start. THEN I'M GOING TO BUILD A SUPREME VILLAGE IN MINECRAFT. As you can see, the last village I attempted was a failure as it was filled with dissidents. I have high expectations for village #2.

If I had a nickle for every time a gacha game had a shooting star theme for their 1.1 update - I'd have two nickles, which isn't a lot but it's awesome it happened twice.

Last year for the marathon stream, I used most of my time blocks for Super Mario Galaxy 2. This year they're mostly Helldivers 2 lets get that freedom babyyy. 😎

Two helldivers emote in the middle of battle, locking hands and butting heads. Democracy is saved.

Terrified of heights. Have never gone up to the top of the Strat in Vegas. Do I do it??

A poorly taken photo of the Strat hotel in Vegas, taken from the Atomic Golf nextdoor. It is so so tall. Just so tall.

@lumilite.bsky.social, @marinaawallace.bsky.social, and I lost to the computer in Mario Party last night. It was shameful, and we're not taking any further questions at this time. Helluva ball club.

Darvin Ham, teary eyed as he gives one of his infamously bad post game interviews, asks reporters to "Give him like two seconds." He then lays his face on the desk, in between his arms, and says "Damn. Oh my god."

Chicago got its first snow yesterday and IT WAS A REALLY GOOD ONE. I'll be tired of it by New Years but right now I'm in the festive mood.

I have no idea how it would work (honestly, it wouldn't lol) but I wish there was a photo mode in Helldivers. Maybe it could be a camera strategem for showcasing Super Earth's finest. 😅

I started another No Man's Sky save (possibly for the marathon stream) and man this game is just so rad. Only two hours in and I have already come across some really great views. I'm hoping this playthrough will be the one I get the PS5 plat during. #nomanssky
